Basic Trope: Men are always ready to have sex, regardless of circumstances.
- Straight: Bob is always hungry for sex and will never turn it down.

- Alice offers to let Bob briefly feel her up, and in return, he goes to singlehandedly fight a war on her behalf.
- Bob is so eager for sex, that not even the afterlife can sate his eternal horniess, and he's resurrected as a zombie just to get him out of their hair. Cue Zombie Bob deciding to continue his horny rampage across the land.
- Downplayed:
- Bob isn't always raring to go, but he's ready to have sex more often than not.
- Bob regularly jumps at the chance to make out with Alice, but doesn't go further.
- Justified:
- Bob has overactive hormones.
- Bob is from a culture where you are not considered a man until you've had sex.
- Bob is aiming for Sex for Solace because events in the series have been very traumatic for him, and hiding the pain with sex is good enough for him.
- Inverted: [All Women Are Lustful Alice is always ready to have sex and will never turn it down.]]
- Subverted: Despite seeming always raring to have sex, when Alice offers Bob sex, he turns her down.
- Double Subverted: When she asks a few seconds later, he gleefully jumps into bed with her.
- Parodied: Bob is an Extreme Omnisexual who will try to have sex with literally anything, at any moment. Including empty air.
- Zig-Zagged: Bob spends an episode constantly being caught having sex with Alice. The next episode, he keeps it in his pants, until the episode after that getting up to sexual shenanigans again.
- Averted: Bob has a normal sexual appetite - if he's not in the mood (and he's not always in the mood), he will refuse sex.
- Enforced:
- It's a porn flick.
- The creator was told to include fanservice in the series with Bob as the instigator, much to their displeasure.
- Lampshaded: "Jesus, again, Bob? Didn't we just do it?"
- Invoked: Bob decides to take medication to improve his sex drive, and it works... a little too well.
- Exploited: Alice keeps the eternally-horny Bob wrapped around her finger with promises of regular sex, and he's oblivious to her manipulations.

- Bob turns down any and all offers of sex, and he doesn't make any advances toward others.
- Bob is asexual and has no interest in having sex, declining it whenever possible.
- Bob is antisexual, and actively and vehemently refuses to have sex despite all the opportunities being thrown at him.
- Discussed: "How the hell do you find time for your job in between all the fucking?" "I have great time management skills!"
- Conversed: ???
- Deconstructed: Bob is hypersexual. His extreme libido and unrelenting desire for sex make it very difficult to get anything accomplished, and it alienates Alice, who has a normal libido and is unable to keep up with his sexual appetite, putting major strain on their relationship.
- Reconstructed: Bob and Alice agree to separate, deciding to remain good friends since they still like each other otherwise. On Bob's part, he decides to meet other people who can handle his hypersexuality, and eventually starts dating Alexis, who has a similar condition and is happy to have a man who can finally keep up with her.
- Played for Laughs:
- Bob constantly wants to try new sex positions in bed with Alice, which range from the mildly kinky to the exceedingly weird. Alice rolls with it.
- Alice is the kinky one, and no matter how weirded out Bob is by her strange requests, he can't bring himself to say no.
- Played for Drama: Bob constantly wanting sex often comes up at very bad times.
- Played for Horror:
- See Exploited. Bob ends up in the clutches of a female Serial Killer who ends up shaping him into her pet by promising him lots of sex... as long as he kills and slaughters for her. Bob goes along with it, too horny to care.
- Bob is a violent rapist who regularly kidnaps women to have sex with, replacing them when they are inevitably unable to handle Bob's extremely high sex drive and his brutal, violent, depraved fetishes. Unfortunately for Alice, she is Bob's latest victim and she needs to get out of his bed or end up dead.
