Pantheon / GUAG Engineering Division

Go To

While the Medical Division is for healing the wounded in battle in order to prevent deaths, this usually can only apply for organic beings. The GUAG Engineering Division not only covers mechanical deities, but other machines as well like vehicles, non-sentient robots, and the like.

In addition, new machines are being devised every day for the war effort, from tanks to ATVs to exoskeletons to mounted turrets. Sometimes, magic does get mixed in the designing of these.

Of note: The Engineer here is just for hire. He can easily defect to another side if the pay is high enough, though he does have some standards to uphold. Given that he's friends with some of the members here, he won't defect at a moment's notice, and will at least stay until the contract's end if he plans on siding with another Alliance.

Cyborg acts as liaison to this division from the GUAG Superhero Division. Wheeljack serves as the liaison to the GUAG Robot War Division.

Head Engineers

Emmet Brickowski, God of LEGO and Seeing Everything As Awesome (The Special, Rex Dangervest)

  • Greater God as himself or Rex Dangervest, formerly Quasideity]]
  • Symbol: A LEGO double-decker couch, or the Piece of Resistance (as Emmet), As Rex, it's his fist-shaped ship.
  • Alignment: Neutral Good, Neutral Evil as Rex Dangervest
  • Reason for Joining: 'CAUSE EVERYTHING IS AWESOME! Well, evil can be awesome at times, but he's not going for them.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Pretty high. Emmet is much too good-natured to resent anybody, but Cosmos values imagination and friendship, which are traits Emmet values.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Surprisingly, deceptively high. First of all, Emmet is God of LEGO, so any set ever built by the company falls under his purview, and any characters featured in said sets are his allies. This includes people like the Fellowship of The Ring, Hogwarts, the Justice League, The Avengers, Steve?, the Ninja Turtles and the Rebel Alliance. Not only that, pretty much ANYTHING can be built with LEGOs, so he can supply insane amounts of equipment to his allies in the GUAG. Another thing that makes Emmet dangerous: he actually managed to make a Big Bad do a genuine, honest-to-goodness Heel–Face Turn. Anyone with that capacity to make someone realize the error of his ways and join the good guys is someone Melkor should never underestimate. Oh, and he's friends with the goddamn Batman.

Other Members

Agatha Heterodyne, Goddess of Steam Punk Machinery

  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: The Heterodyne Trilobite
  • Alignment: Neutral Good (normally) Chaotic Neutral (when working on something)
  • Reason for Joining: Chance to build stuff to use against the GUAE. That, and to hide from Klaus Wulfenbach in the GUAL.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Medium. She takes after her father and uncle, but recent events have jaded her to prioritize her friends over heroics in general.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: High. With her Spark mind bursting with ideas, in addition to the new technology in the Pantheon, Agatha can make greats things for the GUAG. Her allies are also excellent combatants in their own right, and Agatha herself is no slouch either.

Asami Sato, The Genuine Nice Goddess

  • Demigoddess
  • Symbol: Her Shock Glove
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Reason for Joining: To help Avatar Korra, her girlfriend.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: High.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Medium. Not only is she a great engineer, she's competent enough to fight alongside Korra and her other bender friends.

Bulma, Goddess of Rich Geniuses (Bulma Briefs, Bloomers)

  • Demigoddess
  • Symbol: The Capsule Corp logo
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Reason for Joining: The join the Z-Fighters. And to keep Vegeta honest.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: High.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: High. She's an absolute genius when it comes to robotics and has become one of the go-to deities when you need something fixed, such as cyborg repairs. She even singlehandedly built a time machine, and it's possible she could fix an I.S.. Her company's Capsules are useful, too. Also, her husband is freakin' Vegeta.

Fix-It Felix Jr., God of Fixing

  • Greater God
  • Symbol: His blue cap with the letters "FF", alternately his golden hammer.
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Reason for joining: It's in his programming to help out everyone he can, not to mention fix any messes his best friend Ralph might accidentally make.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Cosmos helped deify the Fix-it Felix arcade game and brought the Nicelanders along for the party. She's also gets along mighty well with Ralph (despite being in the GUAE). She's currently trying to find the perfect position for Sergeant Calhoun, his wife. Whuch has succeeded.
  • Threat to Melkor: High. That hammer of his can fix broken buildings, wounds, etc....which makes it act as a double-edged sword. He can only fix with it, which can be exploited as when he was once trapped in prison. Instead of breaking out, he made the prison bars better than before. As he stated, "Why do I fix everything I touch?!"

Gadget Hackwrench, Goddess of Female Animals with Hair

  • Demigoddess
  • Symbol: The Rescue Rangers logo; alternatively, her goggles
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Reason for Joining: The GUAG need top-notch mechanics.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos:
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Moderate. Taking her out would a blow to the support staff of the GUAG.

Isaac Clarke, God of Engineers (CEC Engineer)

  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: His RIG helmet
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Reason for Joining: Not here to fight against Melkor but the GUAD actually.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: High
  • Threat to Melkor: Very High. He's a capital enemy of the Necromorphs, and even ended up destroying one of their moons. Nekron is keeping a close eye on him.

Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage, Gods of Busting Myths

  • Demigods
  • Symbol: Buster the Dummy
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral (Jamie), Chaotic Neutral (Adam)
  • Reason for joining: To test the myth that the GUAE is unbeatable.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Myth of loyalty: Confirmed.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Medium-High, considering the amount of explosives, robots, and miscellaneous projectile weaponry they manage to get their hands on…

Robert Edwin House, God of Human-Powered Machines

  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: A poker chip with the number 38 on it.
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Reason for joining: There's no money or societal progress to be made if Melkor and his minions take over the universe.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: None whatsoever, he's merely good for the fact it's beneficial for him. But on the idea that he'll serve Cosmos because serving Melkor holds no advantages for him, he's absolutely loyal.
  • Threat to Melkor: Low, he's a good Chessmaster but his Securitrons aren't good for much besides Cannon Fodder. However, rumor has it he's on the lookout for a legendary "platinum chip", and if he finds it, he can upgrade his Securitrons to be much more dangerous and raise his threat level up to Moderate.

Tali'Zorah nar Rayya, Goddess of Unseen Faces

  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: Her helmet
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Reason for Joining: Helping out Commander Shepard and defending the quarians that Melkor has threatened.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Quite high. Cosmos also promised the protection of the Quarians and their reclaimed home Rannoch, plus the GUAG is also working on to help her develop something to get past that weak immune system for her race (while the geth are helping out in that regard thanks to Shepard brokering peace between the two races, she's not above taking more assistance), thus Tali wanted to help.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Moderate. It would've been high due to her involvement against the Reapers and siding with Shepard, but her lack of an immune system puts her rather low since it causes fragility.

Legion, Deity (Deities?) of Mind Hives (Infiltrait0rN7)

  • Demideity (or Demideities?) individually, Lesser Deity united
  • Symbol: a piece of N7 armor. Alternately, the M-98 Widow Anti-Materiel Rifle
  • Alignment: Under debate; Lawful Good, True Neutral, and Blue-and-Orange Morality are generally the three most popular alignment choices practiced by followers.
  • Reason for joining: To assist with Shepard-Commander as well as Creator-Tali'Zorah as well as their Creators homeworld.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: High. Cosmos has promised to protect Rannoch as well as the Creator-Race (quarians), plus the GUAG is helping fix their immunity deficiency as mimicking mild virus attacks for quarians in order to help boost their natural immune systems can only go so far.
  • Threat to Melkor: High. As a multitude of programs, hacking its platform will prove…extremely difficult, and the platform itself is extremely durable in battle.

Dr. Thomas Light, Divine Patriarch of Robo-Families (Doctor Light, Doctor Right, Dr. Xavier Wright)

  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: A capsule with the "L" symbol
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Reason for joining: To be at Mega Man's side and to provide support for him. Also because he advocates equality between humanity and robot-kind.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: High.
  • Threat Level To Melkor: Very High: being the creator of Mega Man (and X), as well as being Dr. Wily's better, you bet Cosmos' enemies would want Light out of the picture fast. And with the Double Gear system he first got from Dr. Wily back in their youth, that threat level's kicked up a notch.

Winry Rockbell, Goddess of Female Mechanics

  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: Her wrench (for fixing Ed's automail or whacking him for wrecking it)
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Reason for Joining: Gadget invited her, and Edward Elric is here, too.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: High.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Moderate. Taking her and her followers out would a blow to the Enigneering Division, though it also means a guarantee that the Elric brothers would beeline for the culprit.

Anataeus Vaya, Al. D., Patron Saint of Programming Games

  • Demigod
  • Symbol: A hex grid with elemental/metal Reagents, manipulators, and glyphs.
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Reason for Joining: He knew that the "universal solvent" that he's made would eventually get him entangled in the war, so he decided to join Cosmos's cause because he'll be safer there.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Fair. All he wants is to practice alchemy.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Moderate to High. Given what he's been able to create with his transmutation engine, and all the other things he can make, removing him would deliver a considerable blow.

Wheeljack, God of Exploding Scientific Creations (Que, Jackie, NOT Downshift)

  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: The Autobot insignia (Either the original, or Generation Two model) or the Wreckers insignia (his Prime incarnation)
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good, briefly Lawful Evil as his Armada incarnation (Chaotic Evil in his Transformers: Shattered Glass form)
  • Reason for Joining: Optimus specifically ascended him alongside Bulkhead to serve as the Transformers maintenance specialist in the Engineering Division (more specifically his heralds Ratchet and Hoist).
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: High. He's one of Prime's most staunch followers and shares his strong sense of loyalty.
  • Threat Level: Medium on his own. He can get very rough in a fight when he needs to. Lethally high if one of his inventions come into the picture. The time he 'accidentally' remote-controlled an entire warehouse of GUAM drones is legendary.

Hired Wrench

Dell Conagher, God of Percussive Maintenance (The Engineer)

  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: His Uhlman Build-matic wrench. Or alternatively, a Level 3 Sentry.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Reason for Joining: He's just for hire, being a mercenary and all.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Only for the duration of his contract.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Medium-High. His Sentry Guns, Dispensers, and Teleporters are works of art. Though he's not too willing to share with the class.
