Despite Yumeutsutsu Re:Master being mostly a light-hearted visual novel, somes scenes can be disturbing.

- Nana's Bittersweet ending has Nana psychologically traumatized due to the abuse she got received from her Step-Mother. While at first it seems that Ai takes good care of her, it's shown at night that Ai went insane and became obsessed with Nana, calling her a broken doll and not wanting to help her recover so that she could keep her for herself.
- Marie's Bittersweet ending has Marie interned to a psychiatry ward after Ai got shot to protect her and died as a result while seemingly showing that Ai survived and everything returned to how it was like before. It's revealed that Marie is in a cell filled with many drawings of Ai and that she is speaking alone and is under the delusion that Ai is still alive.
- When Kokoro meets Ai on the stairs, Kokoro asks if the demon inside Ai would die if she were to push Ai down the stairs. While putting her hand on Ai's shoulder, letting the reader presume that she will push her, only to be stopped by Banako's bark.
- Nana's step-mother's appearances are uncomfortable. Though she is seems polite to Ai and Nana, the history between her and Nana and the fact that she uses the latter's weaknesses to convince her to come back give a pretty idea of the horrible person she is. She's the one responsible for Nana entering a vegestative state due to psychological trauma in her bittersweet ending and the events shown in her good ending path reveal that Nana was basically turned into a Sex Slave and either escaped or was thrown away after just a few days.
- The threatening emails sent to Ai and Kokoro on the latter's route prior to The Reveal due to their unknown sender and what that person is capable of.
