The premise of the Whack Your... games is to unleash a Cruel and Unusual Death on some Asshole Victim. While the games are meant to have a Catharsis Factor, that doesn't make some deaths any less horrifying.

  • The original Whack Your Boss opts out of elaborate torture for some tried and true violence. Such pleasantries include:
    • Stabbing the boss' stomach so that all of his intestines fall out. WITH A LETTER OPENER.
    • The keyboard death. Not only do you repeatedly whack your boss with the keyboard, but once a piece of it breaks off (leaving a sharp edge), you force it into your boss's mouth and repeatedly kick down on the boss's skull with the keyboard inside.
    • The pencil death, with the protagonist forcing the boss over the table and repeatedly stabbing the back of his neck with the pencil.
    • The broken bottle death, which has you poking your boss in the eyes with the bottle, only to put him in a headlock and viciously ram the bottle into his eyes repeatedly. The happy music does nothing to help.
    • The briefcase death, with the protagonist repeatedly stomping on and crushing the boss's head (which is inside the briefcase).
    • The telephone death, where you kill the boss via a long and probably realistically drawn-out strangulation.
    • Using the scissors will result in an eruption of High-Pressure Blood from your boss' throat (as pictured above). Given how much more bloody it is in comparison to the rest of the game, it could be a reference to Sanjuro, with the infamous pump malfunction resulting in a lot more blood than intended. If nothing else, it uses the exact same sound effect at the moment of the attack.
    • The cubicle wall death. The protagonist subjects his boss to a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown, curb-stomping him while he's begging not to be hit, with a few employees running away for their safety while the cubicle gets trashed up. The protagonist then finally kills him by bashing his skull against the cubicle wall several times, before smashing him through it really hard.
    • The water cooler death. The protagonist punches the boss to the ground, before walking over to the water cooler, taking out the dispenser, kicks him down and then proceeds to drown the boss with it. You can actually hear the boss' muffled screams as he does this, and also the sound of them fading as the boss runs out of air. When the protagonist releases his grip on the dispenser, it falls off, showing that the boss' mouth was bloodied. He essentially smashed in the boss' mouth — that was how hard he was shoving the dispenser in.
  • Whack Your Neighbor manages to be extremely cruel even for this type of game.
    • The chain option results in the neighbor being chained to a tree and slowly dying of starvation. After a year, all that’s left of him is his skeleton.
  • Whack the Serial Killer is also particularly gory, with most of the kills involving the torture rack being a special level of sadistic.
    • The regular torture rack kill involves Lisa pulling the guy's arms and legs off with it.
    • Another kill involves Lisa trapping a rat in a cage with a hole placed over the killer's stomach, and then heating it up with the blowtorch so that the rat has nowhere to go but inside the killer. The rat then proceeds to eat the poor bastard alive from the inside out before emerging from his mouth. Eeesh!
    • And then there's the surgical tools kill that straight up goes up to eleven. It involves Lisa cutting out bits of the killer's brain and his chest, roasting them in the furnace, and then feeding them to the dog!
