    Season 1
To "The Power of Ten"

"Animal Harm"

"Save the Trees"

  • After his machine is destroyed, Oakheart tries to make a run for it, but he quickly gets caught by the living vines, which wrap themselves around his wrists and neck. They get ready to kill him in brutal fashion, but Flash fortunately intervenes before it can get gruesome.

"Power Outage"

  • The Conductiods, the alien species of Feedback, act as the antagonists of the chapter. They steal electricity from a power plant to recharge their ship, but also take a few hostages, including Shining Armor, claiming they will be their "snack". Shining Armor realizes they mean they're going to drain the electric pulses from their brains.

"Prehistoric Panic"

  • Flash and Trixie find a baby of the T-Rex-like dinosaur Ancient Bones previously discussed and they think it's adorable. Then it's mother, even larger than what Bones predicted, comes out and turns bloodthirsty when it perceives a threat to its offspring. It gives chase to the two and lets out a fearsome roar that sends Flash and Trixie into a run.

"Rise of the Technovore"

  • The opening scene has a ship investigating a Distress Signal, only to realize that it was a trap and Vilgax's ship attacks and easily destroys their own ship. It also turns out that the destruction of this ship was an accident, since Vilgax wanted it disabled so he could retrieve the materials onboard and repair his own ship quicker. He brushes off the ship's destruction and warns his robot assistant there had better be something worth all this.

"Bloodsuckers"

  • This whole chapter could be an example to anyone who has ranidaphobia.
  • Flash wakes up from bed to find a giant frog at the end of his bed staring at him. When he tries to be friendly with it and pet it, it starts sucking on his hand and trying to drain all of his blood. That's one hell of a way to wake up.
  • Just how much the giant frogs are a Super-Persistent Predator in their pursuit of Flash. He is only able to avoid them for so long thanks to the Omnitrix and the Rainboom's magic. But if this had happened to any average person, chances are they wouldn't have been so lucky.
  • Fluttershy can understand the frogs with her magic, and according to her they all keep saying "Blood, blood, give us blood. Every drop, gives us life."

"The Hunt is On"

  • Just like in the canon episode the chapter is based on, Dynamo Danger ends up getting turned into a Cyborg after being infected by Vilgax's drone, and is put under Vilgax's command to retrieve the Omnitrix or suffer.
  • Vilgax's warning to Flash is just as terrifying as it was to Ben, with Flash outright admitting he's afraid of Vilgax now.
Vilgax: Listen to every word! Be very afraid. You cannot run. You cannot hide from me. I will find you. And when I do, I will retrieve my Omnitrix and destroy you! (Vilgax opens his mouth and Vapaw is Swallowed Whole)

"Lady Masquerade"

  • The chapter begins with Devious attacking a kingdom and confronting the Queen to obtain her magic medallion. When it becomes clear she can't beat him, she renounces it to keep it away from him, but this doesn't spare her life.
  • Devious uses an amplifier gem throughout the chapter to render any magical opponent weak and helpless against him. It even shows to work on Equestrian Magic too, despite being a different kind of magic than Devious is familiar with.
  • When Devious finally catches Trixie and starts draining her of her power, he is not shy about stating the process will likely kill her. He even brags that even if she survives, she'll probably wish she was dead.

"Ice to Meet You"

"Revelations"

    Season 2
"Plumbing School"
  • Even without appearing, the threat that Vilgax presents is still felt. When Tetrax and the Plumbers learn that Vilgax is still alive, they make it clear it is only a matter of time before he comes back for revenge, and that he won't "take Flash lightly" again.
Flash: Lightly?! He was gonna cut my arm off!
Tetrax: Next time, he probably won't bother cutting. He'll just grab your arm and pull until it comes off.

"Ten Aliens and a Baby"

  • A pack of wolves being transported to the zoo are accidentally released by Gizmo trying to hack into the bank and escape into the park. One of them notices Flurry Heart while Flash is carrying her, and thinks she will make a tasty snack. Fortunately though Flash is able to keep her safe by transforming, and she never even realizes she was in danger.

"They Came From the Deep"

  • Flash's first encounter with the alien squid’s ends with him almost suffocating, and narrowly avoiding drowning thanks to being saved by Ripple and his crew.
  • The squids are revealed to be kidnapping people to gather their DNA for a bomb that will wipe out at least 90% of all humans on the planet. Ultimately the only way to stop them is by overwriting the human DNA samples with a sample of their own DNA and using their own weapon against them when they refuse to back down. This essentially means that genocide had to be committed against the bad guys in order to save the day.

A Villain's Level Up"

  • The ending scene of the chapter shows that Negative has started to become suspicious of Flash Sentry, remembering how he suddenly disappeared once he took his eyes off him and right before one of the alien heroes showed up. He can tell there is some kind of connection, but isn't sure what. He also managed to hide one of the disks for his cloning device, which is heavily implied to be the one he scanned of Flash. It suggests that Negative is close to learning Flash's Secret Identity, and has plans for him in the future.

"Glitches"

  • It is revealed that Dragstar's alien tech actually came from a living alien. A Galvanic Mechamorph named Gal-N. Gal-N was the captain of the ship that Vilgax destroyed in "Rise of the Technovore". Gal-N's crew was killed in the ship's destruction and he barley escaped himself, crash-landing on Earth. Technovore was a piece of tech on Gal-N's ship that went out of control and Gal-N himself was found and experimented on by Dragstar. So all of these threats can all be connected to Vilgax destroying Gal-N's ship in the first place, which once again must be reminded was an accident since Vilgax wanted to cripple the ship rather than completely destroy it.
  • Gal-N's matrix is damaged even after he reforms his body. He explains that this can do anything to him. from causing problems with his body to changing his very personality. In this case it is implied to give him a thirst for vengeance for all he has suffered and lost in the last few months. Since he is told he can't make Dragstar himself suffer for what he did to him, then he'll just make everyone else on the planet suffer instead, since he mistakenly blames Earth for what happened to him.
  • Gal-N takes control of a Bus Full of Innocents and purposely drives recklessly to scare everyone on board. He then transforms the bus to make it fly, further scaring everyone inside, and attempts to purposely crash it into one of the tall buildings in the city.

"Taking Flight"

  • Devious manages to catch Fleetfoot and nearly succeeds in taking the Sky Butterfly Medallion from her. Fleetfoot is only able to stop him through her own Heroic Willpower and renouncing the medallion so he couldn't get it. This Near-Death Experience makes Fleetfoot realize she isn't cut out to be a hero the same as Trixie, Flash, and the Rainbooms though, understanding that it isn't as fun as they make it look and that she can't risk her life constantly the way they do.

    Season 3
"World Famous"
  • One of the world leaders suggests they simply cut off Flash's arm to get the Omnitrix. Remember, this is exactly what Vilgax planned to do the first time Flash fought him. Thankfully it doesn't come to that thanks to the President absolutely refusing.
  • A gang of crooks try to rob a bank while the city is still recovering from Vilgax's invasion. They plan to break into a vault using a bomb, but according to Azmuth they don't know exactly what kind of bomb they have, stating it will not just blow up the vault and destroy everything inside, it will also destroy the entire building and the ones around it.

"Tick Tock, Slows The Clock"

  • The chapter begins with Devious defeating the wielder of the Mad Monkey Medallion and claiming it for himself. Not only is this already a bad thing due to Devious now being even stronger, we never find out what happened to the person he took it from, like if he's even alive or who he was.

    Season 4
"From Time to Time PT1"
  • A minor moment, but the Null Void is once again referred to as a "hellhole", with a criminal Tetramand having lost a leg there.
  • Flash is almost killed by his future self, due to him mistaking his younger self as a clone.
  • It is confirmed that Vilgax is still alive in the Present, having survived the events of "Secrets of the Omnitrix".
  • It is revealed the chain of events that led to this future, where Flash is bitter and abrasive and nearly all of his old friends have separated and have miserable lives, all began on the very day Flurry Heart accidentally pulled Flash from, and the event that set it all into motion was the death of Shining Armor.

"From Time to Time PT2"

  • One of the last things Flash's future self tells him before he returns to his own time is a warning about Zs'Skayr.

"Get in the Spider Zone"

  • Chrysalis tries to kill everyone by using her Medallion's powers to teleport them outside her office, which is several stories above the ground, intending to let gravity do the rest.
  • Devious rescues Chrysalis from the heroes, giving her a special crystal to recharge herself and teleport them away. Instead of taking her powers for himself though, he proposes that the two of them team-up together, pointing out that's the only reason Trixie has managed to beat either of them previously. Chrysalis accepts.

"Digital Dilemma"

Twilight’s Haunting

  • Due to a glitch in the Omnitrix, Flash has unlocked Ghostfreak. The enemy that his future self warned him about is now closer than he realizes.
  • After unlocking Ghostfreak, it immediately proceeds to pummel the Bomber to the point where he Prefer Jail to the Protagonist, Foreshadowing Ghostfreak’s true nature.

Group Therapy

  • Of course Ghostfreak gets quite a few moments throughout the chapter.
    • Flash explains how using Ghostfreak just feels different, like he isn't himself, saying how his first instinct seems to be to use lethal force against his enemies and there is a little voice in his head telling him to just end them, and he needs to try to not hurt his enemies too much.
    • Ghostfreak takes control of Flash's body while he's asleep in the middle of the night, having Flash change into him and going off to confront the villains. This leads to Ghostfreak fighting them in complete silence.
    • After defeating all the villains until only Animac is left, Ghostfreak's continued silence without a single word or joke at their expense makes Animac even more scared, with the narration saying he was bricking himself as Ghostfreak approached him, to the point of yelling "SAY SOMETHING!" at him. Ghostfreak does the same thing he did to Zombozo in the original series, open up his skin and show Animac what's inside, paralyzing him with fear. Then he grabs Animac and makes it clear he's about to stab him to death before Shining and Trixie show up and call him off. Instead of turning to face them though, only Ghostfreak's eye moves to look at them, before he leaves without a word.
    • Flash's reaction the following morning when he wakes up to find himself covered in bruises and that he apparently beat all his enemies the previous night. When he hears from Shining how he almost killed Animac, but he has no memory of any of this, they both realize something is seriously wrong.
