- The Gorn level is on par with director Kuei Chi-hung's previous horror work, Bewitched (1981).
- The scene where a bat's carcass rapidly decomposes, only for the skeleton to suddenly come to life.
- The ritual involving stitching a mummy in the disemboweled carcass of an alligator. Of course the disembowelment process is shown onscreen!
- Yeah, the brain potion? See the picture.
- The penangggalan scene, where a voodoo priest's head detaches itself and starts taking a mind on it's own.
- During the Eye Scream scene where giant spiders digs out the monk's eyes, the camera tends to linger a little too uncomfortably close...
- The film's brain-melting, sheer Mind Screw of a finale has almost everything, including a zombified alligator, mummies, gator skulls coming to life, skinned female demons bleeding blue Alien Blood all over the place... it needs to be seen to believe.
