Considering what the other branches of the Pokémon series has already given us, you'd expect the PokéPark games to follow suit. And, lo and behold, they do.

    PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond
  • The victims of the Wish Park attractions who were brought there to have fun, and instead ended up losing control of their body and mind. It's extremely ironic, considering they want to stop doing the exact thing they came here to do.
    • The victims of the Cake Zone attraction are by far the creepiest in Wish Park. They're the only ones to actually be hypnotised: the victims of the other attractions lose control of their bodies, but seem to be in a mentally stable condition. The cake zone victims are so obsessed on eating the cake that it's impaired their judgement.
      • Pikachu and Piplup very nearly end up this way as well if it wasn't for Oshawott.
    • Umbreon probably feels even worse about himself: he's the only person in the Flight Zone not to be controlled, but he can't do anything to help his friends floating in the air above him.
    • Pikachu and Co. are almost certainly being affected by the attractions influence, which must be terrifying for them: if they fail to win the attraction, they end up like all the Pokémon around them.
  • Pikachu, Oshawott, and Piplup getting chased through Wish Park by a giant pair of hands (Darkrai's). It ends with Piplup performing a Heroic Sacrifice by pushing Pikachu through the door with Oshawott, letting himself get captured.
  • Pikachu after the first visit to Wish Palace. Everything is grey and no one seems to exist. Even worse, it's not stated how long Pikachu stays like this: it could have been days or even months after the events of Wish Palace. It's a good thing Piplup turned up before the Dark Vortex opened and all hell broke loose.
  • The scene where the Dark Vortex absorbs Wish Park must have been traumatizing for Pikachu. The entire world is falling apart, his friends have been absorbed and the only person seemingly unaffected is his Arch-Nemesis, who is standing next to their only chance for survival. Even worse, this is happening all across PokéPark. It's a good thing Darkrai had a change of heart.
