One Missed Call
  • Yoko’s death. While on the phone with Yumi, she notes that it’s starting to rain, which was the exact thing she said on her death message. She then turns around and screams. We never see what she saw, but whatever it was throws her off the overpass into the path of an oncoming train, all the while Yumi is still on the other end, screaming her name in a panic. We then cut to see Yoko’s severed arm, still holding her phone, dialing to forward the death call to its next victim.
  • Kenji’s death is one of the more tamer ones note , but it’ll still make you wary of elevators for a while.
  • Natsumi’s death is just horrific. After the exorcism on her phone fails to work, the curse infects her body, painfully contorting it in several ways, before finally forcing her to twist her own head off. And it all happened on live television.

The remake

  • The unofficial mascot of the remake: a sinisterly smiling face with screaming mouths for eyes. Granted, it is a horror movie, but the mascot's appearance crosses the line. It doesn't help that they show it every freaking time they advertise for the movie.
    • In the DVD of Batman Begins upon opening the case, one may find an advertisement for One Missed Call on Blu-Ray that, predictably, had that ghastly face staring out at him/her.
  • From the movie proper, the undead demon baby holding the cell phone. Dear God, the undead demon baby holding the cell phone!
  • That ominous ringtone...
