- Made even worse by the fact that they don't appear to have eyes.
- Twice during the film, for a brief moment, the monkey who's crashing at the moment does have eyes. Big, bulging eyes. It's up to debate whether or not they look even scarier then.
- The kid who gets STEAMROLLED. Especially after they cut to black and one can hear a crunch. This is the first death that doesn't have some sort of wacky Looney Tunes-ish edge, instead played deadly straight.
- The way they don't seem to care one bit that all of their friends are dying.
- The whole slasher movie-ish structure with the snarky comments by the narrator who seems to be positively delighted by the monkeys' demises.
