Being a videogame developed by the infamous Puppet Combo (creators of Babysitter Bloodbath, The Glass Staircase, Night Shift, Power Drill Massacre, Nun Massacre, Feed Me Billy, etc), it's no surprise that this game is very, very terrifying.
- The entire eerie atmosphere of the game as you wander through a derelict desolate district of New York City with nothing but 80s synths filling in the silence. It's really effective.
- Like other Puppet Combo games, it managed to scare even The Stoic John Wolfe of all people. Particularly, anytime you're inside a building. The game becomes a narrow, claustrophobic nightmare where the Nightripper can come out of literally any corner, much like the killer in Babysitter Bloodbath and the one in Power Drill Massacre.
- The section where your character is forced to traverse from rooftops to rooftops using only small, thin, wooden boards that looks like it could break at any moment. It's even worse if you suffer from acrophobia.
- If you slipped up and fall, the game will immediately skipped to the last second before your character hits the ground, accompanied by a sudden, high-pitched scream of your Player Character.
