Undead Sara Cooper... Brr...
- The reanimated Sara Cooper herself is downright terrifying.
- Similarly to its 1968 counterpart, this movie has the scene where the aforementioned zombie girl kills her mother. But while the original uses Karen stabbing Helen with a trowel as a display of undead intelligence, zombie Sarah straight up eats her mother, unnerving the audience as they watch as her humanity is immediately erased, leaving a feral predator in the husk of a girl. - The slow accumulation of a small zombie horde gradually ascending up the hill to the besieged farm house is pretty creepy.
- The zombies themselves are pretty eerie. Thanks to the special effects team taking cues from autopsy photos and the like. The zombies comes across as actually looking like real walking corpses, that still looks creepy even by today's special make up effects standards.
