Reminder: according to the Spoiler policy, there should be no spoiler tags on moments pages. Those reading without being up to date on the game's plot are doing so at their own risk.

  • The child is bullied almost-constantly in school, and the only thing you can do to protect them is let them stay home.
    • At one point the bullying gets so bad that the other kids at school try to murder your child by holding their face down in the snow. They're only stopped by Mr. Berg's timely intervention.
    • After Mr. Berg leaves, his replacement Mr. Solheim orders the other students to urinate on your child.
    • At Mr. Solheim's encouragement, the bullies tie your child to a tree and leave them in the woods. The child could have died of exposure if the Player Character didn't find them in time.
  • When the child first claims to be sick, one of the dialogue options suggest Pneumonia. That disease can be deadly if untreated, the Player Character has barely enough money to survive, and even if they could afford it there's no guarantee the local doctor would even treat a 'Nazi-kid'.
  • When the Player Character boards a train to visit the child's maternal grandparents, the child is excited to watch the landscape go by. Unknown to them, but heard by the Player Character and the player, two passengers are talking about how evil lebensborn children are and how much they hate them. This is paired with creepy music, which could make the player afraid for the child's safety.
  • In the last chapter, the child is raped by Mr. Solheim. The child loses all interest in activities they previously enjoyed, even eating, and then draws a picture of what happened. This is every parent's worst nightmare.
    • Mr. Solheim is not only a Karma Houdini, but at the end of the game he is still a teacher at the school with unsupervised access to the other students.
