Vengaboys is a Dutch Eurodance group consisting of Robin Pors, Kim Sasabone, Donny Latupeirissa, and Denise Post-Van Rijswijk. They are known for their hit songs “We Like to Party” and “Boom Boom Boom Boom” which have charted in countries worldwide.

They were also featured in various media such as commercials for the theme park chain, Six Flags. They also actively tour and have won awards for their music.

  • Dancing on a Bus
    • The video for their hit song, “We Like to Party” shows the band going around and picking up guests. This became a defining trait of the group and their reputation.
    • The video for “We’re Going to Ibiza” shows the band in animated form dancing on the same bus that is now CGI.
  • Defiant Strip: In “Skinnydippin’” is about the band putting on a loud, nude swimming party in which they fear the police showing up.
  • Double Entendre: “The Computer Song” is chock full of them.
    • “The way your move your joystick. It really makes my mouse click.”
    • ”Come sit down on my laptop and do a little hip-hop. Let’s go into a chat room, and do a little boom-boom!
    • ”My disk was not protected, and now I am infected.”
  • Gender-Equal Ensemble: There are exactly two girls and two boys in the group. Kim Sasabone, Denise Post-Van Rijswijk, Robin Pors, and Donny Latupeirissa.
  • "I Am" Song: Their song “Ho Ho Vengaboys” talks about starting the party with them.
  • Non-Indicative Name: Despite being called Vengaboys, only two of the four are boys, and their lead singer is Kim, a girl.
  • Screams Like a Little Girl: An alien in the video for “Rocket to Uranus” shrieks at the sight of the enemy spaceship with the sound of a woman screaming.
  • Special Guest: Perez Hilton provides vocals for the bridge of “Rocket to Uranus”
