Tropes

  • Genre Shift: Her first album Jukebox was a standard Pop album. Her second album was mostly country-pop/Americana. From 2020, she changed her stage name and sound to R&B.
  • Intercourse with You: "Hrs and Hrs" with lyrics such as "You sit me up on the counter/Instantly, it's thunder showers/Stormin' for a couple hours/When we finished, take a shower"
  • Looped Lyrics: "Hrs and Hrs" repeats "hours and hours" all throughout the song.
  • Silly Love Songs: Found in all her albums, no matter which genre. "Made for Me" is a good example of this.
