Michelle Blades (1990) is a Panamean Singer-Songwriter and director.
Born in Panama, she left the country at an early age and grew up in Miami. She got involved in the DIY scene of Arizona and later left her home continent for France. After getting signed on the label Midnight Special Records, she released numerous albums and EPs across the The New '10s. Aside from her solo career, she also has her own live band called Michelle Blades y Los Machetes and has collaborated with her fellow artists from Midnight Special Records, whether it's about being a session player or a music video director.
Her uncle Rubén Blades is known as an icon of the Salsa genre in Central America.
