Ibon Belandia is a musician and comedian who used to sing in a local band called SKIMALES. He also draws doodles for his music videos and adds karaoke because he expects you to sing along. All his songs are humorous, even if sometimes doesn't happen until the middle.
All of his works are here.
He also played the mascot of Animakom from 2017 to 2018.
Tropes featured include:
- Anti-Love Song: If the song sounds like it's going to be about love, expect a Bait-and-Switch.
- The most romantic it can get is CLONCH, about couples in love shitting together.
- Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: I MET WITH MY EX finishes with the ex-girlfriend going out with "someone called Miguel" who happens to be a fan of The Walking Dead.
- Attractive Zombie: In OUR SEXUAL LIFE, Ibon wants to fuck with his girlfriend even if she is turning into a zombie.
- Author Avatar: The doodle from WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU is used for promotional material.
- AutoTune: Invoked in THE EMBEDDER, the only reggaeton song.
- Basement-Dweller: I LIVE WITH MY PARENTS is about that.
- Bomb Whistle: CLONCH uses it to depict falling shit.
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: Since the songs are mostly composed for live performances, some of them talk to the audience.
- In I MET WITH MY EX, the ex enters a relationship with "someone called Miguel" while he was singing the song.
- Break-Up Song: Inverted with I MET WITH MY EX.
- Bait-and-Switch: Many of his songs invoke this trope, specially OUR SEXUAL LIFE, which changes from a love song to a Zombie Apocalypse.
- Caps Lock: The titles of the songs.
- Christmas Episode: BROTHER-IN-LAW CHRISTMAS CAROL
- Darker and Edgier: YOU DON'T HAVE DATA makes not being able to use the phone a horrific experience.
- Despair Event Horizon: In WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU, Ibon activates the fire alarm to avoid a chatterbox who doesn't recognize.
- Destroy the Product Placement: MR. GUONDERFUL is a cup with lame puns Ibon "has to advertize" with the song.
- Determinator: LOURDES AND MARI CARMEN would give-up their friendship for a discounted bra.
- Don't Explain the Joke: From SHARE: "I die with this photo of a zebra where it says 'do not stripe yourself'. It's funny because it's a zebra and zebras have stripes, you know?".
- Up to eleven with MR. GUONDERFUL.
- Double Entendre: OUR SEXUAL LIFE is about the lack of sex and zombies.
- Downer Ending: I MET WITH MY EX finishes with the ex entering in a relationship with "someone called Miguel" while he was singing the song.
- I LIVE WITH MY PARENTS finishes with the mother sending an audio note by Whatsapp expulsing Ibon from the house.
- Emoticon: OUR SEXUAL LIFE uses :) instead of "fuck".
- Establishing Character Moment: The live performances start with PUBLIC TRANSPORT, which sounds like a completely regular song until the Bait-and-Switch.
- Everything's Deader with Zombies: OUR SEXUAL LIFE
- Exactly What It Says on the Tin:
- THE CLITORIS ISN'T THERE
- I MET WITH MY EX
- WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU
- I LIVE WITH MY PARENTS
- YOU DON'T HAVE DATA
- Foreshadowing: The picture of OUR SEXUAL LIFE is a tombstone. Apparently, it's a metaphore of the dead sexual life, but there is an actual Zombie Apocalypse.
- For Want Of A Nail: SHARE is about a social media user who started sharing everything "and everything started with the video of a dog skating".
- Genre Shift: Practically every song covers a different genre.
- Gratuitous Foreign Language: There are plenty of Vasque words like "agur" in I LIVE WITH MY PARENTS or 2018 mentioning the EGA, which is the Certificate of Knowing Vasque.
- Halfway Plot Switch: OUR SEXUAL LIFE changes from a love song to a Zombie Apocalypse.
- Halloween Episode: Not exactly, but YOU DON'T HAVE DATA sounds like one.
- Hardcore Hip-Hop: ARE YOU LEAVING OR NOT is the most aggressive song, done in this style.
- Hard-Work Montage: LOURDES AND MARI CARMEN sounds like one.
- Hotter and Sexier: THE CLITORIS ISN'T THERE, even it's accompanied with a female voice.
- THE EMBEDDER talks about "doing the gecko" while fucking.
- Line Boil: The artstyle of the music videos.
- Never Trust a Title: Expect Bait-and-Switch and Halfway Plot Switch.
- When the title is straightforward like TORRELAVEGA, the only thing it actually highlights about the town is the short waits to renew the ID.
- No Fourth Wall: Some songs seem to have natural progression while Ibon sings about them.
- Precision F-Strike: WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU is name after one.
- OUR SEXUAL LIFE starts avoiding the word "fuck" until the Halfway Plot Switch.
- Product Placement: MR.GUONDERFUL is sung like if it was a commercial.
- Pumpkin Person: YOU DON'T HAVE DATA has one.
- Regional Riff: TORRELAVEGA is the song that feels more Spanish for using classic guitar and a town from Spain.
- Rock & Roll: RISKY MONOGAMY
- Self-Deprecation: Frequently used if Ibon is involved in the story of the song.
- The Tagline itself is "I make music and sometimes it's funny".
- Shout-Out:
- I MET WITH MY EX sounds like American Idiot.
- CLONCH sounds like "Hakuna Matata".
- THE CLITORIS ISN'T THERE does an Indiana Jones Name Drop and then briefly hums the theme song.
- THE THRONE DANCE references and hums the Game of Thrones theme.
- Stealth Pun: THE THRONE DANCE is the only reggaeton song and speaks about shitting.
- Stylistic Suck: The music videos are composed of moving pictures using Line Boil and karaoke to sing along.
- Take That!:
- SMOOTH YOUR BEARD is about bearded people, "who could be behind that beard? An unshaven dumb".
- SHARE is about social media users who share everything without "a quality filter", calling them "generous digital coprofagus".
- WHISTLE is about how useless whistling is to traffic problems.
- BROTHER-IN-LAW CHRISTMAS CAROL is about brothers-in-law telling unfunny jokes in Christmas.
- THE THRONE DANCE parodies reggaeton music and it's about shitting.
- Tagline: "I make music and sometimes it's funny".
- Tempting Fate: RISKY MONOGAMY is about married people meeting people in bars without cheating.
- The Ghost: I MET WITH MY EX finishes with the ex-girlfriend going out with "someone called Miguel".
- Toilet Humour: PUBLIC TRANSPORT is about people who farts in buses.
- Up to eleven in CLONCH

- We Used to Be Friends: LOURDES AND MARI CARMEN has the titular characters fighting for a discounted bra.
- Yandere: Ibon obsesses with his ex-girlfriend on I MET WITH MY EX.
- Zombie Apocalypse: OUR SEXUAL LIFE
- Zombie Gait: Ibon does one on live performances of OUR SEXUAL LIFE.
