Since 1979, Kei and Yuri have fought all kinds of intergalactic criminals during their time at the 3WA. Several help darken the tone of this comedic franchise.

  • The Great Adventures of the Dirty Pair's self-titled storynote : Professor Teppeus, seemingly a rude Gravus Heavy Industries scientist, is revealed to be working with Lucifer. Creating a Mind Control gas with the help of his colleague Professor Angaron, Teppeus plans to brainwash Dangool's citizens into handing their planet over to Lucifer, killing Angaron as a way to prevent the truth from leaking. Sending out Gravus drones to attack the Lovely Angels when they arrive on Dangool, which leads to the destruction of a plane carrying 53 passengers, when the Angels are in his grasp, Teppeus tries to brainwash them into becoming sex slaves for his men.

  • 1985 anime:
    • "You're Kidding! 463 People Disappear" & "We Did It! 463 People Reappear": Captain N. K. Crocker and T. Y. Stablos are a pair of human smugglers who kidnap victims and sell them for profit. Taking a full crew of 463 innocents captive, the two plan to continue their trade and attempt to murder the crew when discovered, women and children included.
    • "Are You Serious? A Condo is a Dangerous Place to Live": The killers are a pair of identical twins who treat their murders like one big chess game. Posing as salesmen as they frequent condos, the killers sadistically murder young women and carve the letter of their piece into their forehead just to outdo each other. With 33 victims to their name, one of the killers tries to pose as a detective in order to kill Kei and Yuri.
    • "R-Really?! For Beautiful Women, "Canon" is the Keyword to Escape": Marcus is the cold-blooded security captain for the Weapons Research and Development Lab. Seeking to become rich, Marcus massacres all personnel inside his lab, including a rookie security guard, to hold Chief Gooley hostage for 1 billion credits, threatening to fire the Super God Canon on Eleanor City and kill millions. Torturing Gooley in his spare time, after he's freed by the Lovely Angels, Marcus entraps them in his erupting lair, hoping to take them with him to a fiery grave.
  • Affair on Nolandia: Oran is a rich man out to use children as weapons. Setting up shop on Nolandia, Oran begins to experiment horribly on psychic children and fetuses to design them to be weapons, using them to kill any interlopers to his experiments. To perfect them, Oran is eager to use them to kill civilians, one incident shooting down seven full planes with no care how many kids die so long as he can weaponize the rest of them.
  • Dirty Pair 2:
    • "Challenge To The Gods! We're Not Afraid Of Your Divine Wrath": "God" is a powerful cybernetic being with delusions of being a deity who runs a brutal theocracy. Everyone who slightly dissents is killed in a Human Sacrifice, with everyone only allowed to worship God eternally. When one city does not meet God's standards, God simply annihilates it, killing everyone within.
    • "This Girl Is My Elder! Sleeping Beauty": Bill Jones is the president of J.C. Headquarters, and Dr. Nea's former assistant. Responsible for a terrorist attack on the White Swan that claimed 832 lives, Jones wanted Nea killed after he recorded a message in a microchip warning people of his plan to steal his fluid circuit and sell it. Twenty years later, after discovering that Nea's daughter Tia has the microchip, Jones tries to kill her to preserve his reputation.
    • "Slaughter Squad! Red Eyed Hell Signal": Masoho is an Arms Dealer with a ruthless business model: finding a planet at war and arming both sides to kill one another. When the Dirty Pair arrive in one planet consumed by conflict, Masoho sabotages peace talks with brainwashed soldiers to keep the war going and slaughter more civilians, all to continue his profits.

  • Mission 1: Angels in Trouble: Waldess is the head of GCN and a powerful billionaire who builds an empire of murder and tyranny. Having countless people killed as a high-ranking member of the organization Lucifer, Waldess tries to have an entire city district wiped out to rebuild it at a profit. Intending on seizing the space station Siren, Waldess plans to launch every nuclear weapon across the galaxy to cause the utter extinction of humankind to build a new cosmos in his own image.
  • Mission 3: Random Angels's "Grey Colored Avenger":
    • Beringer is a sadistic terrorist and weapons developer who previously tore Chief Poporo's arm off. Freed from prison by Mad Dog Carmen, Beringer happily accepts Mad Dog's offer to lead his shock troop army to conquer the galaxy, just as long as he can use his special mech suit to get revenge on Poporo. Causing city-wide destruction in order to lure 3WA agents out of their headquarters, Beringer, hoping to pay Poporo back in blood, holds his daughter Rosa hostage, threatening to kill her should he not try and rescue her, only to try and kill them both once Poporo honors his part of the deal.
    • Mad Dog Carmen, known throughout the galaxy as being more dangerous than Beringer, is an infamous Space Pirate who seeks to cause havoc across the galaxy with his army of shock troops. Freeing Beringer from a prison ship by blowing it up, Mad Dog allows Beringer to get revenge on Poporo however he likes just as long as he'll become commander of his army, threatening to kill him like everyone who's double-crossed him.
  • DX: Kei & Yuri Chapters 4 & 5—“Nervous!? About Them” & “The Two of Us”: The Boss of an intergalactic mafia is obsessed with Kei and Yuri. Seeking their power for her own purposes, the Boss creates android replicas of them to lay waste to a neighboring city in order to ruin their reputation, with women and children not being safe. Luring a desperate Yuri to her side, the Boss has her tied up in her dungeon, attempting to rape her to pass the time while sadistically cracking jokes.

Adam Warren's comic

  • A Plague of Angels: Carvalho is a perverted cyborg terrorist who is eager to steal the bodies of those he comes across, even that of a little girl. With a legacy of terrorism behind him, Carvalho prepares a bomb on a populated planet to annihilate 90% of life on the world, and tries to kill the Lovely Angels to secure his plot's success.
  • Sim Hell & Fatal But Not Serious: Kevin J. Sleet is the 3WA's sleazy head technician, and a major player in the association's shadowy Bureau of Technological Regulation (BTR). An egotistical creep who spearheaded the BTR's plan to create and research nanotechnology, Sleet plans to create a deadlier variation of the No-Dachi virus, hoping to use the 3WA's Central Computer to spread it, wipe out every human in the universe, and claim the galaxy as his own property. Hoping to also use nanotechnology to create Kei and Yuri clones to serve as his own personal harem, Sleet has any Trouble Consultants with ties to the Central Computer killed by entrapping them in deadly VR training sims, even forcing Kei and Yuri to go through simulations of their worst fears when they try to stop him. Seeking revenge on the two for foiling his plan, Sleet creates a clone of Yuri to cause mass destruction in her attempt to kill the Lovely Angels, with Yuri #2 creating a supernova that destroys the entire Egawa planet, to Sleet's delight.
