- Ass Shove: Reika gets a cold. Miyako pays a visit to her. Reika ropes her into giving her suppository medicine. It's viewed with Funny X-Ray.
- Bait-and-Switch: Bonus pages after Chapter 18 feature cropped image of Reika with her legs up. On the next page she's completely dressed and chastites the reader for being a pervert. Yet another following page subverts this, showing Miyako wearing only panties and frantically covering her nude bosom.
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: On a bonus page Miyakonojou chastites the reader for being a pervert.
- Shortly afterwards, when talking with Yatsuhashi about the books going on sale, she suddenly yells at the reader making a face that can be best described as demonic.
- Brother–Sister Incest: After learning that Miyako has a little brother, Reika immediately assumes this trope is in effect. Of course, she's wrong.
- Can't Hold Her Liquor: In Chapter 45 Reika brings some whiskey bonbons to school and shares with Miyako. The latter gets drunk after ingesting so much as one.
- Chewbacca Defense: Reika is adept at countering Miyako's tirades against her "immorality".The school regulations only mandate that "you must wear the assigned uniform on school grounds." And panties are not part of the uniform, are they?
- Compensated Dating: Reika considers doing this, but Miyako is able to talk her out of it. However, she saves up for an expensive wallet so people will think she got the money from prostitution.
- Cranial Eruption: The cover art of Chapter 16.5 features Miyako treating a comedic skinny bulb on top of Reika's head - an aftermath of her double Face Fault in the previous chapter.
- Double Entendre: When Miyako goes under with cold, Reika comes to wisit her home. She says "I've come." with a heart mark, while making slightly suggestive face, which makes it sound like it had a different meaning.
- Expospeak Gag: In this case, used for innuendo. Disappointed that Miyako didn't use the electric toothbrush she got her to masturbate, Reika muses on how "Miyako is taking my present, turning on its vibration, inserting it into one of her mucous membranes, and shoving it around until she's good and satisfied."
- Eye Scream: When Reika confesses she's been masturbating on Miyako's desk, Miyako reacts by shoveing her thumbs into Reika's eyes.
- Face Fault: Lampshaded in chapter 16, when Reika is told that Miyako has a younger brother, to express her surprise she smashes herself face-first on the floor because, that's what they do in a gag manga.
- She does it again at the end of the chapter when Miyako reconfirms she actually has been bathing together with her brother until kindergarten.
- Friendless Background / I Just Want to Have Friends: Miyako is the first friend Reika has ever had.
- The Gadfly: Reika enjoys pulling off all sorts of shenanigans on poor Miyako, just to see how the latter's reaction.
- Girlish Pigtails: Miyako always wears her hair in braids, and is more innocent than Reika.
- Going Commando: Reika's Establishing Character Moment.
- Headbutt Thermometer: When Miyako is sick, Reika checks her temperature this way.
- Homoerotic Subtext: Reika is a shameless flirt with Miyako, and Miyako more than once comments on how attractive she finds Reika.
- Then in Chapter 17 Reika out of nowhere straightforwardly plants a kiss on Miyako.
- The very next chapter all subtlety goes out of the window when Reika emotionally coerces Miyako to massage her bare bosom.
- Hypocritical Humor: After begging Miyako into letting her touch her boobs, Reika chides her for not being able to turn down people asking to grope her, as if Reika herself doesn't fantasize about that.
- One of the bonus pages after Chapter 18 features Reika chastiting the reader for being a pervert.
- Idiosyncratic Episode Naming: Every chapter is titled "Miyakonojou-san [does x]".
- If It's You, It's Okay: While Reika doesn't deny swinging that way, her first text to Miyako goes something like: If it's her, she'd let her take her, which indeed hints that somehow Miyako is special to her.
- Indirect Kiss: After borrowing Miyako's panties, Reika compares it to an "indirect clam kiss". Later on, she claims that swimming in a public pool is an "indirect orgy".
- Insane Troll Logic: Reika's reasoning is an irrefutable proof, she runs on this."So to summarize, Miyakonojou-san, you forgot to wear panties today, so you wanted to see mine. That's what you're saying?"

- Once an Episode: Each chapter usually ends with Miyako reacting with a shocked face to something Reika said.

- Pose of Supplication: Miyakonojou does a dogeza to beg Yatsuhashi to let her touch her boobs.
- Sacred First Kiss: When in Chapter 17 Reika out of nowhere plants one on Miyako, the latter chastites her for taking away her first kiss.
- School Sport Uniform: Reika is the only girl who wears bloomers in gym class, claiming it's a form of "cultural preservation" (but she really wears them because they're associated with lewdness).
- Self-Deprecation: Reika tends to put herself down a lot. For example, when she forgot to get Miyako a birthday present, she ranked herself below gum stuck on the bottom of Miyako's shoe.
- Shameless Fanservice Girl: Reika's Establishing Character Moment is her Going Commando to school (and looking up Miyako's skirt).

- Sick Episode: In Chapter 26, Miyako gets a cold and Reika comes to visit her.

- In Chapter Reika wants a handful of Miyako's bust so badly, she does a dogeza.
- Miyako is emotionally coerced to return the favor in Chapter 18 where Reika asks her to massage her bosom, so it would grow.
