The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies is a fantasy Romantic Comedy manga by Cocoa Fujiwara (creator of Inu × Boku SS) that was serialized in Monthy Gangan Joker from 2013 to 2015. The series has been licensed by Yen Press to be translated into English starting from August 2024.
The story follows Mira, the titular Lieutenant of an evil organization with the goal of destroying all that's in their path. One day, a magical girl named Minori Byakaya shows up to stop the organization and the unexpected happens...Mira falls for her at first sight.
An anime adaptation by Studio Bones was announced in early 2024 to begin airing in July 2024.
