The wonderful thing about tiggers... is tiggers are orange things.

"Orange is the happiest color."

The color orange is associated with joy, warmth, encouragement, success, stimulation, determination, fun, energy, excitement and enthusiasm, and sweetness and zestiness much like the fruit it is named from. It can also be associated with tigers, foxes, monarch butterflies, orangutans, goldfish, redheads, warm summers, blazing autumns, and Halloween.

In Asian symbolism, the color of transformation, purity, illumination, and the highest state of perfection. Naturally, fiction features a number of characters whose extraversion comes with having orange as a Color Motif. They could wear orange clothing, have orange hair or even have orange skin. Other examples of this trope could be the color joy simply being expressed as being orange.

Of course, being extroverted isn't without its negative qualities. Orange Extroverts can be impulsive, pushy, unserious, loud, obnoxious, oblivious and obsessed with attention. It is also possible for an Orange Extrovert to actually be a Stepford Smiler, with their vibrant exterior being a mask for their pain and sorrow. In color psychology, orange increases energy in people and it's also said to have an effect on arousal, making people excited or alert.

Sub-Trope of Colour-Coded Emotions. Compare Shy Blue-Haired Girl and Blue Is Calm. Can overlap with Orange/Blue Contrast.

Note: Any example of a character featuring orange in their design must list whatever personality traits they have that makes them qualify for this trope. Otherwise, it is a Zero-Context Example.
