LaLa is the second most well known Shoujo magazine by Hakusensha. Initially beginning life as a sister magazine to Hana to Yume (then known as Hana to Yume LaLa), this publication soon grew its own independent identity, with the magazines still running side-by-side to this day.
Though its days as a spinoff of Hana to Yume have long since past, the connection can still be found on its manga imprint, Hana Lala Comics.
