The Corrupted Chronicles Of Coco Claramisa is a novel written by Dallas Pring. The story focuses on a girl named Coco who is obsessed with attention.

At the beginning, Coco felt empty inside and was unable to experience any emotions. Then upon reaching the age where she could perform for her family circus, Coco began feeling emotion for the first time in her life when she heard the crowd cheer for her.

However, her happiness is short lived when Lily Harper joins the circus and steals her thunder.

The story was available to read on Wattpad, but with the release of the story on kindle and paperback, only the first two chapters are available there.

This story contains examples of:

  • Attention Whore: Coco wants people to be focused on her more than anybody else, and she is willing to go to great lengths to keep it that way.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing:
    • Coco manages to keep her true colors hidden from everybody around her. The only one who shows any suspicion of her is Natricia.
    • Aiko Himura is at first thought to have been a Shrinking Violet who was suffering from depression and being paranoid of Bloody Rose coming to kill her. However, a third of that is just a facade. She actually is Bloody Rose, and she considered depression to be so bad that it be better to kill those who had it.
  • Emotionless Girl: Coco starts out as such at the beginning of the story. Upon becoming popular, she begins to feel happiness for the first time. It only goes downhill from there.
  • Expy:
    • Coco Claramisa takes a few characteristic from Yandere-Chan.
    • Natricia's determination to prove that Coco is the one responsible for the murders at the Claramisa Circus makes her out to be one for L.
  • Heel Realization:
    • Subverted for Coco. After the final trial results in the family circus getting permanently shut down, Coco blames herself and gets ready to confess everything to Natricia. She quickly changes her mind when Charlotte presents a new chance to gain attention.
    • Played Straight with Aiko. After her failed attempt at suicide, Aiko is put in an asylum where she reflects on what she had done and realizes that she caused more suffering than she halted.
  • Hero Antagonist: Natricia Dream's goal is to find the evidence she needs to expose Coco of being the criminal that she is.
  • Insists on Being Suspected: Upon another performer of the circus being murdered, Natricia announces there to be four possible suspects. Out of the four, Natricia includes herself due to the fact that she knew the item used for the murder would be involved.
  • Large Ham: Chamila Valentine often boasts about her colony, and Coco even finds her to be over-the-top.
  • Living Toys: Fester the Clown is a clown doll Coco got from her first victim who comes to life with a desire to help Coco.
  • Serial Killer: Aside from Coco herself, the is a mysterious serial killer whom people know as Bloody Rose, who always leaves a rose covered in the blood of his victims.
  • Self-Made Orphan:
    • When Aiko is revealed to be Bloody Rose, she admits to have killed her own parents and played herself as if she was just a witness.
    • Coco herself ends up being an indirect example as she instead manipulates Bloody Rose into killing her father, after having figured out who Bloody Rose is.
  • The Speechless: Mimic the mime never talks at all in the book. Justified due to being a mime.
  • Villain Protagonist: Coco's sole concern is for her own happiness. She doesn't care whose life she has to ruin in order to get what she wants.
