Just For Fun / Happy Tree Friends Adventures Anime

Go To

Someone in the Happy Tree Friends Adventures fandom decided the game needed an anime adaption, and that is what she did... well, kinda. She made a page on the Idea Wiki for the concept of the anime. Unlike Happy Tree Friends: The Anime, which has the characters as humans in a high-school setting, this anime is heavily based on the games, with a couple differences here and there to make it stand out. There is currently 13 arcs for the anime.

This unmade anime includes examples of:

  • Bloodless Carnage: When characters are seen in a situation where they should be bleeding, little to no blood ever appears.
  • Blow You Away: Brandy with Triple Gustnote
  • Cue the Sun: Happens in...
    • The HTFA2 arc, after the tree friends defeat Bowser and save Allay, and they stand while the sun rises.
    • The Land arc, where the group also stands as the sun rises and Bowser lands in the sea.
  • Defeat Means Friendship: Happens to...
    • Lavare in the Lavare arc, where she is free from Bowser's control and helps Allay and Lemy in reaching Bowser's castle. She is seen flying through the skies in the following arcs, and even assisted the tree friends in breaking the Grand Volt free from Bowser's control.
    • The Grand Volt in the Grand Volt Arc, where he also breaks free from Bowser's control. He starts flying with Lavare in the next arc onwards as well.
  • The Dragon: Bowser tames monsters in the anime, like in the games.
  • Early-Bird Cameo:
    • Neena and Tacho appear in the opening for the HTFA4 and Lavare arcs, despite neither of them appearing in the former.
    • Brandy appears in the desert episode of the HTFA5 arc, despite not having an appearance in the games until HTFA6.
    • Allay herself appears in the HTFA1 arc, though she does not make an appearance in the games until HTFA2.
  • Happy Ending Override: Bowser in the HTFA5 arc rides on a meteor after his space station blows up in the HTFA4 arc.
  • Kid Hero: Most of the protagonists of the series are nine years old (Neena is 12, Tacho and Minttles is 11, and Ledar is considered very young).
  • People Jars: As well as the Fake Bowsers, the tree friends find a still-developing Ledar in the tubes of the Fake Bowser Clone Laboratory.
  • Playing with Fire:
  • A Mook the tree friends battle having a fire-related attack is common.
