Something's Brewing at DND...

Something's troping at TVT...

"Wow!"

"Al Pacino!"

"It's not Al anymore...it's 'Trope'!"

"Tropeccino?"

"Don't mind if I do!"

Dunkaccino is a coffee blend available at Dunkin' Donuts, first introduced in 2011. Also in 2011 was the release of Jack and Jill, starring Adam Sandler. Naturally, Product Placement happened between the two. In the In-Universe commercial, Al Pacino enters a Dunkin' Donuts, to immediate recognition from employees and customers. Upon being called out, he informs everyone that he no longer goes by Al, instead going by Dunk. One employee figures out that "Dunk" and "Pacino" combined make "Dunkaccino", causing him to blurt out this very name. And then the song plays, describing the drink in great detail.

9 years later, in April of 2020, a Twitter account known as "@DailyDunkaccino" was registered. This account is dedicated to everyday posting various edits of the infamous scene, mostly of Stylistic Suck variety. These include (but are far from limited to) Dunkaccino being dubbed by Duke Nukem, a school assignment claiming that the commercial is an example of The Hero's Journey and a video of an actual Dunkin' Donuts employee performing the song at work. This account blew up in popularity, currently standing at some 39,000 followers as of January of 2021, with 312 tweets. While Dunkin' Donuts have not officially said acknowledged the meme, it is more than likely that they are aware of it, given the size of the account and the surprising amount of coverage the meme has gotten.
