Most stories end up with the antagonists and/or their associates' lives going downhill as karma's way to punish them for their misdeeds, eventually driving them into ruin. Therefore, this warrants MoniRobo a Humiliation Conga subpage.


  • "My friend who stole my fiancé two years ago tried to do the same thing again": After seducing Kenji into bedding and then marrying her instead of Ayako, Marie ends up paying for it as Kenji had her move with him to his mom's house. From there on, she endured Domestic Abuse from her mother-in-law, with Kenji defending her every time she complained about it. After the mother-son duo barred her from tending to her baby son, she ran away. When Marie stumbled upon Ayako and her new fiancé, Cedric, she tried to steal him only for the man to reject her as Ayako warned him beforehand. After Marie ran off crying, one of Kenji's friends took her back to Kenji's home. Ayako then revealed that Kenji's parents gave Marie's parents a handsome sum of money in exchange for giving their daughter away in marriage, so they refused to help her. By the time she finally got out of the relationship, she aged quickly from the stress of being abused and lost her beauty. As for Kenji, he got a new girlfriend but ended up being arrested for thrashing the neighborhood, and his mom may follow suit for enabling his behavior.
  • "My husband's true personality was revealed during my pregnancy": The abusive Kohei gets divorced by his wife Natsumi and thrown into the snow by his mother-in-law who owned an inn in Hokkaido. He was forced to pay compensation and child support and got fired from his job, forcing him to sell the house and work part-time. Eventually, he becomes a gambling-addicted alcoholic, defaulting on his child support payments as he seemingly disappeared.
  • "The one piece of information that changed all the wrong doings in my workplace…" [sic]: Ms. Yabami gets fired for embezzlement after the reorganization board fired Executive Yakamashi for account diversion, while her staff was forced to resign. The General Manager, who enabled Yabami's authoritarian rule over the office, was demoted and resigned six months later.
  • "I was happy at my temp job until I met her, the worst coworker ever": After finding out the manual she ripped up to spite Charako was written by Mr. Tanaka, Mari is reduced to begging him not to fire her. However, the temp workers she bullied won't have any of her crap and brought him documents of her numerous failures and problematic behaviors. When Mr. Tanaka fired her for her trouble, she runs away crying. To top it off, she was rejected from any companies she applied to work at and Charako took over Mari's former position.
  • My wife left me for a CEO, but in the end, I got together with his wife: Camila regrets taking over Miss Veronica's accounting job after dumping her husband Silas in favor of a CEO; not only did the latter manage huge accounts, but she also managed human resources and schedule management at the same time. Furthermore, her new husband's had a sterility problem and refusal to conceive children. The couple showed up at Silas' house to beg their respective exes to get back to them only to be rejected and exposed for their past harassment of him and his wife Veronica. Eventually, Camila clings to Morogoni for his money and refuses to divorce him.
  • On the day of an important presentation, she tries to bring me down: Ayane gets fired after Masayoshi exposed her wrongdoings to her boss and her sending a delinquent to rob Nano of her purse so she can take over her presentation project. This leads to Ayane facing justice and awaiting trial for her crime.
  • The parents who only loved my brother: Years after Tsugumi got into college, her mother Yoshiko ran out of money after her lover-turned-husband retired and his son became a Lazy Bum. She calls Tsugumi to give her some money, but she calls the old crone out for treating her like crap throughout her life and blocks her number. On top of that, Yoshiko is now being abused by both her son and her husband for the former's failure.
  • My older sister stole all of my boyfriends…: Rio gathered all of Reina's (and by extension, Hanayo's) ex-boyfriends in one spot by promising them the chance to demand compensation from Reina. Even then, she kept trying and failing to steal Rio even after escaping her ex-boyfriends' wrath, which drove her to go after married men only to dump them later as she did in the past. This obviously comes back to bite her as the men she dumped confessed to their wives and they sued her for alimony to the point her parents kicked her out of the house. Eventually, she has to work part-time jobs to pay her huge debt.
  • My sister despised me for working at home and tried to take over my apartment: After Tomomi's quarrel with Tomokazu ended in him getting a broken arm, both her mom and her husband Yuichi leave her to fend the cops sent to arrest her for assault. She also has to pay not only Tomokazu himself, but his publisher, and her husband Yuichi the compensation money, leaving her broke as the debt totaled up to 100 million yen. Eventually, she was kicked out of Yuichi's house and her parents decide to keep her in the house to have her take part-time jobs to pay off the debt and ends up physically and mentally exhausted.
  • Here's what happened at my friend's wedding after he dumped my precious sister...: Katsumi exposes Yasuo's true colors in his wedding speech after finding the latter abused the former's sister Emika as soon as they dated and even cheated on her with his now-bride. When the staff tried to stop him, the still-recovering Emika shows up to back his claims and warned the bride about him, causing her to call off the wedding. It also turns out Emika wasn't Yasuo's first victim; his father covered for him. Katsumi and Emika sued Yasuo, who was charged with blackmail, assault, and battery and sentenced to 3 years in jail. After his release, his father forces him to work in a special cleanup unit under his constant surveillance to pay the debt he racked up.
  • My beloved wife was cheating on me and finds it amusing that I broke my leg: Kaori divorces her husband Tatsuya, thinking that she could just negate his demands for compensation with asking to split the money, take the apartment, and go with her lover Ryusei. However, by the time she finally divorced him, Tatsuya sold the apartment and closed the joint account to keep her from taking his money. He even forced her lover to pay compensation as well, effectively leaving the lovebirds homeless. What's more, this wasn't the first time Ryusei ends up in legal trouble with a woman and got Tatsuya to keep quiet with the condition of paying his 2 million yen in compensation, only to quit his job because Kaori kept pestering him. Eventually, Kaori lost her mind and got arrested for stabbing Ryusei in a murder attempt.
  • Colleague looks down on janitor, but little did she know that...: Molly bullied the janitor who cleaned the offices' toilets, but later on turns out to be Mr. Sebastian's mother, who was the elder sister of the company's CEO. After finding out the truth, she tried to suck up to the janitor and Mr. Sebastian, only to be rejected. Eventually, all the rich guys she tried to seduce into marriage refused to take her seriously, reducing her to working at an expensive marriage agency and about to be fired soon.
  • My coworker just has to brag about her happiness: Abigail chewed Riley out at the latter's wedding out of jealousy only for the groom Keegan to clap back at her and send her home crying in defeat. Due to this scene, her own fiancé Matthew dumped her for a prettier, younger woman. However, it didn't discourage her from trying to find herself a husband, as she dragged along younger women to act as her foils, only for her to be their foil. She then recurred to online dating, requiring the guy be "rich, on his thirties, and handsome". When one of her colleagues at a past matchmaking party finally married her match, Abigail demanded her to introduce a handsome guy at her wedding. Eventually, she gave up and started overeating till she became overweight.
  • The new recruit is using her family's powers to threaten me!: At a snack bar, Mr. Tora knocked one of Ikari's goons out cold in an instant. Turns out he was one of the heads of a Yakuza group far bigger than Ikari's, and scares the hell out of them after revealing himself. What's more, he gave her and her group a severe reprimand and exposed her habit of bringing up her connections to her father, whose group's financial troubles were the reason Ikari joined Atsumu's company in the first place. Eventually, Ikari gets fired from the job and her father forces her and her goons to learn how to use computers as punishment.
  • Brother uninvites my gf just because she didn't go to uni: Kenta mocked his brother Daisuke's fiancee Yuko for being a middle school graduate, but the wedding venue he and his own fiancee Rie were going to notified him that they're not going to provide the wedding gowns. As it turns out, Yuko is the top fashion designer who tailored the flattering dresses and suits for Kenta and Rie's wedding. Kenta tries to apologize to Yuko to let them wear the outfits only to be rejected. As a result, Rie dumped Kenta and broke off their marriage. When Daisuke and Yuko had their wedding the day after, Kenta tried to flatter famous fashion designers, only to reject him for how he treated Yuko.
  • My sister stole my boyfriend. But, at the end, she finds out the truth about him. [sic]: Atsuko finds out too late that her husband, (and her sister Nobuko's ex-boyfriend) Kunihisa, was the leader of a vegetarian male supremacist cult. Therefore, the cult didn't allow women to have luxurious lives or be deeply involved with non-cultists. She also had to participate in his cult's rituals against her will and couldn't do anything because her parents also joined the cult and sold all their possessions. Eventually, Atsuko was hospitalized after enduring so much abuse from the cult. As for Kunihisa, he and his inner circle were arrested for blackmail and fraud following the cult's disbandment.
  • My husband thought I did nothing because I was a house wife, so I divorced him [sic]: One week after receiving alimony and child support from her sexist, abusive husband Jin, Saori exposed his embezzlement to the company he worked at. As a result, his boss fired him from his job and demanded huge amounts of compensation, which made it into the local news. The police confiscated all the goods he bought with the company's money, but it wasn't enough to pay the debt and thus Jin's parents were forced to pay from their retirement funds and sell their house and land. Even after that, Jin became an ex-convict and now lives in a shabby apartment with his parents. Eventually, he took up a construction job and became a disheveled, undignified shell of his former self.
  • My husband told me my cooking was disgusting…: When Iyo’s husband suggests that Nano cook something and ends up preferring her cooking over Iyo’s overseasoned dinner, Iyo is enraged and challenges Nano to a cooking battle, inviting the rest of the family to be the judges. Sure enough, the rest of the family hates Iyo’s cooking for the excess seasoning while the younger ones happily praise Nano’s. This enrages Sorao, who angrily tells Nano off for not listening to his mother and declares he wants a divorce, even convincing Iyo to divorce her husband as well. Sometime later, Iyo has almost spent all of her money from the divorce. Sorao gained weight from her cooking and was told by the doctor that he would die in five years if he doesn’t change his diet. They try to force their respective exes to take them back, only to be chased off when Nano’s new fiancé, Masayoshi (whom her father-in-law introduced her to) threatens to call the police. In the end, Iyo has to sell off their house to repay the debt she made and she lives in an old apartment with Sorao, whose condition has taken a turn for the worst due to all the fast food and convenience store food he was eating since had gotten tired of Iyo’s cooking but couldn’t cook himself.
  • My twin sister tried to steal money at our Mother's funeral...: While Yui's poor decisions out of spite towards her mother, including running away from home and becoming a single mother after being impregnated by a married man, were the factors that ruined her life, these came to a head when she broke into her mother's funeral and kicked the deceased woman's casket while her son, Seiya, stole the funeral money. But as they prepared to leave, a bunch of loan sharks show up to retrieve her; she made a contract with them. She offers them the stolen money in desperation, but they reject it to avoid investigation. Much to Yui's further dismay, her brother, Hajime, became an accomplished lawyer, with the loan sharks having heard of him, and verified that the contract had no faults. Her uncle then leaves Yui at the loan sharks' mercy, but persuades them to give him custody of Seiya. Afterwards, the loan sharks take Yui away, with her whereabouts unknown.
  • My sister looks down on me and even tries to steal my fiancé: Eriko tried to steal Tatsuma from Kyoko after finding out he was richer and more attractive than her own husband, Masamitsu. She seems successful at setting up a date for coffee at a hotel with Tatsuma, only to find her plans foiled when Kyoko and Masamitsu show up at the scheduled room, revealing it was Tatsuma's plan. Turns out Masamitsu's company was at risk of going under and he had to sell it to Tatsuma's. Masamitsu left the building to call his lawyer after Kyoko showed him evidence of her attempt at cheating and eventually divorced her. Furthermore, she was left penniless because her husband signed a prenup, with her parents leaving as well.
  • My Boyfriend dumped me for my sister…: Despite Nano's warnings, Sorao instantly believes all of her sister Rena’s lies and dumps Nano for her. A year later, he married Rena and contacted Nano, demanding she pays two million yen for 'emotional damages.' However, Nano calmly exposes all of Rena's lies, starting with how she drove her friends away because she stole their boyfriends; one even threw fireworks at her house in revenge. Moreover, Rena slept with over 100 guys, exposing her lie that Sorao was her first. To top it off, Nano exposed her family's spending problems, especially around Sorao's savings. While Sorao disbelieved her at first, he panicked over realizing the truth and begs Nano to take him back. Much to his dismay, Nano reveals she has a new fiancé and bids him farewell. Eventually, Sorao ends up racking up a lot of debt because of Rena and her family's constant spending and he's still pining for Nano. While he eventually caught Rena cheating on him and sues her for five million yen, the trial is still ongoing with no results yet.
  • On the day of the wedding, everyone ignored the bride and groom: Atsushi cheated on his fiancee Yurika with a young woman named Mami, planning to marry her instead. In retaliation, her twin sister Erica attended their wedding as a staff member and exposed Atsushi's affair, with the groom's friends telling in detail the truth of the affair, as they were also Yurika's friends. Furthermore, Mami's parents weren't aware that she was Atsushi's mistress and cried out of shame, while guest idol Mizuki's father and the other guests attacked Atsushi's father for allowing him to get away with his affair. As a result, Atsushi's father's company ended up on the verge of bankruptcy; Atsushi himself begged Yurika to take her back, but she understandably chewed him out before blocking him. As for Mami, her parents disowned her for the whole scandal. Eventually, the cheating couple was rumored to have become YouTubers to become rich, only to end up bankrupt and struggling to make ends meet.
  • My husband and his mother treated me like a slave...: Manami ran away crying after she found out her husband Takashi only wanted her for "seeming weak" since her parents died. When she was taken in by elderly izakaya owner Gen Minamizawa and married his son Ryouma, the abusive mother-and-son duo return begging for money; they found out Mr. Minamizawa was rich after they fell for a scam and the con artist vanished without a trace days later. However, Manami rejected them and called the cops on them. Furthermore, they had to sell their land to pay the debt and became jobless pariahs.
  • "Mommy’s boy and mother-in-law from hell": When Nancynote  caught her husband Stevenote  cheating on her with another woman with his mother's blessing, she had enough of the two and emailed his boss with his affair photo attached before signing the divorce papers and leaving the MIL's house. Furthermore, Nancy filed a demand for compensation against him and his mother for all the abuse they put her through despite Steve's pleading with her to drop her demand as he was fired from his job. It turns out the reason for Steve's firing was because of rumors about his lover being underage, which barred him from working at any other establishment and left him no choice but to take loans, with the girl herself dumping him for being poor. Eventually, Steve and his mom are reduced to living in a shabby apartment and relying on the old crone's pension funds.
  • "Mother-in-law canceled my reservation without consent but husband sided with her": Shinobu canceled her daughter-in-law Kyoko's restaurant reservation for Arisa's birthday behind her back; her reason was that Kyoko should be the one making meals for Arisa's birthday as part of her "duties" as a wife. When Kyoko tried to discuss it with her husband Akihiro only for him to defend the sexist old crone on top of him cheating on her with a younger woman, she had enough of them. When Kyoko demanded a divorce and the MIL egged her on, Akihiro panicked as it turns out his wife Kyoko owned the house and he was unemployed. After divorcing Akihiro, she kicks the mother-son duo out of her house before gathering their belongings for them to pick up the next day and then files for compensation, making Akihiro sign a contract that forces him to pay all his debt in one installment if he missed one month of paying. Eventually, a news report told that Akihiro resorted to armed robbery but Shinobu ended up with both arms and one leg broken before the cops got called on the duo.
  • "Jobless for 30 years and leeching off of our parents, he gets a reality check": Ryuji mooched off of his parents thinking he could go on like this until his death. However, his illusion starts to shatter when his father died of cancer. However, he didn't care as he still had his mother to mooch off of until she died a month later. Moreover, after the poor old lady's funeral, he demanded and threatened his older brother Taro into giving him the inheritance. Much to Ryuji's dismay, Taro reveals his parents requested all their pension money be used on their funerals as written in their wills, but he still acted stuck-up; he said he would sell his parents' house and live off the money, only to get his illusion really shattered before his eyes when Taro replied that people wouldn't buy old, shabby countryside houses. From then on, Ryuji tearfully begs Taro to let him stay at his house, only for the latter to cut him off despite his attempts to contact him. Eventually, Ryuji decided to sell the house anyway to no avail and it's implied he became homeless.
  • “My daughters spy on my husband and expose his affair!”: Masashi cheated on Charako with Satomi, thinking of her as ‘young and cute’ as he was unhappy with Charako spending her time tending to her mother and refusing to roleplay during sex. However, his affair was found out by his daughters, Mika and Moka, who gather and present the evidence to Charako. The girls have busted the lovebirds by trapping them in the bathroom during one of their roleplays; this particular one involved a swimsuit that resembled those from the daughters’ school, much to their disgust and horror. After being let out, Masashi tries to justify himself and convince Charako not to divorce him. Much to his dismay, Satomi reveals that she had been in love with him ever since she saw him at their wedding fifteen years ago and she will not give him up, demanding Charako to divorce him so she can have him… which she and her daughters happily agree to, sending Masashi into a full-blown tantrum on the floor screaming over how he wanted to be with Charako. After the divorce, Satomi became more possessive and demanding, issuing murder-suicide threats on Masashi if he refuses to marry her, driving him to flee from town to get away from her and ending up fat, balding, and homeless, reduced to writing poems about his life.
  • "My coworker stole my girlfriend and got me fired so I got him back": Makoto and Emi conspire to frame Satoshi for harassing the latter to have him fired. However, their victory is short-lived as Makoto's lousy management skills cause the clients to get mad at him and show up at his office. After he confesses to his father the CEO that he broke the flash drive given to him by Satoshi, the man gives him a huge dressing down and orders Makoto to call him. While Satoshi rejected his calls, he rushed anyway when the CEO and the clients themselves called him. After he fixed up the issues and defused the fight, the CEO fires Makoto for his trouble, but Satoshi asks him to fire Emi as well for defamation. Eventually, Makoto was fired and forced to pay damages to the clients for his mistake, while Emi was investigated, targeted by rumors, and fired for her trouble soon after. Furthermore, Satoshi sued them both for defamation.
  • "Stepsister who was mean to me learns a lesson about life": Ms. Akiyoshi calls CPS on Yoko's parents after the girl told her about her father's attempt to force her into prostitution despite being underage. After she told everything to the staff and got the police involved, the couple got arrested for sexual abuse of a minor. Moreover, her spoiled stepsister Shiomi was taken in by her father's relatives, but her selfish and ungrateful attitude caused them to call it quits and kick her out as soon as she graduated high school, going missing from there. While her parents didn't go to jail, they got saddled with a massive debt because of their doting on Shiomi and ran away one night.
  • "My wife had an affair for five years…": Shiratori transferred her cheating husband Koushi and his mistress, Megumi, into a new department as employees for the complaints section. Their slacking and flirting caused the customers to end their contracts with the department for the poor service. After being forced to actually do their job, they became worn-out zombies from the constant dressing-downs. This also led to Megumi becoming hospitalized after a pissed-off client beat her up to the point of paralysis in her arm and leg. After Shiratori revealed it to Megumi's husband, Manabu, he decided to divorce her and expose her affair to her parents, who proceeded to pick her up and take her back to the farm. As for Koushi, she divorced him and sued both lovebirds for compensation. One month later, Koushi is still working at the same company, but his father disowned him and left him to work his sorry ass off at the complaints section until he developed a fear of phones. Megumi, on the other hand, had to work at her parents' farm despite the numbness in her arms and legs, especially under her sister-in-law's heel.
  • "My wife cheated on me with her doctor…": A pissed-off Mana showed up at Kengo's doorstep and chewed him out for not picking her up before begging him to take her back, despite divorcing him earlier on to be with Dr. Nakajima. It turns out the doctor used his job to have affairs with female patients despite being married and Kengo told it to the cheating bastard's wife, who sued both lovers for compensation and also announced the divorce to his parents and in-laws. However, Mana refused to leave and tried to dissuade him from calling the police. However, Kengo does so anyway and Mana accidentally breaks a window trying to hit him with her bag. When she brings up their daughters and demands their presence, the three of them chew her out for her negligence. Eventually, Mana is taken away by a cop and arrested for breaking into private property and has to work several part-time jobs to pay the debt after being released since her parents disowned her. As for Dr. Nakajima, he gets sued for compensation by both his ex-wife and Mana before losing his job and his medical license. He becomes a pariah after Kengo warns everyone of the bastard's reputation.
  • "My brother's wife said there was no seat for a disabled person at their wedding...": Haruma's fiancée accidentally exposes herself as a Gold Digger and a disrespectful jerk after she admits to marrying him for his money and disparaging his paraplegic sister Charako. As a result, Haruma gives his bride a huge dressing down and calls off the engagement before suing her for $30,000 in cancellation fees. Moreover, the ex-fiancée gets scolded by her boss and fired because the scene she made at the wedding screwed his company out of a deal with Charako's and drove her to sign with a rival company of his instead. Eventually, she tried to get back to her parents' house only to be kicked out of the house, causing her to live in a tiny, rundown apartment and work part-time jobs to pay the fees.
  • "My wife was cheating on me while she was on business trips…": Masami cheated on her husband Ataru with his brother Yuusuke. When he found out, he divorced her and told everyone about it. As a result, both affair partners were disowned by their parents, Masami lost her job, was forced to pay compensation to both her former company and Ataru, and was forced to move into a cheap apartment.
  • "My girlfriend left me for a guy who was smarter so I got revenge!": After becoming a successful lawyer following being dumped by Kaho, Hiroshi returns to her family home while they celebrate Kazuyoshi's successful sales to announce the latter is getting arrested for fraud after the former investigated all about it. Moreover, Hiroshi's firm was also investigating Kaho's father for illegal practices as they spoke. As for Kaho's mother, her neighbors filed a restraining order against her for harassment. Afraid of what's next to come, Kaho herself futilely tried to get back with Hiroshi. Afterward, Kazuyoshi was arrested, and while they didn't find out much about Kaho's parents, they died from the stress of it all. Kaho tried to raise her baby alone using the inheritance money but she fell for a scammer who pretended to love her and lost it all. Eventually, she dropped off her son at an adoption center and disappeared.
  • "My step-sister tried to steal my husband…": After Misuzu sues both her bratty stepsister Chizuru and cheating husband Naoya, the lovebirds get disowned by their respective parents and reduced to live in tiny rundown apartments. Chizuru had to work as a hostess to pay the compensation and while her looks earned her more than in her former job, she whines about the clientele. Naoya, on the other hand, tried to find another job but was fired soon after because of his piss-poor work performance. Eventually, he spiraled down into alcoholism and gambling addiction, ending in him getting arrested and jailed for a long time for repeated offenses.
  • "My twin sister tried to steal my husband…": After learning that her twin sister Honoka impersonated her in an attempt to steal her husband and almost sexually assaulted the poor guy, Tomoka cuts ties with her and the rest of her family. When the mother calls her for help with Honoka's plan to find herself a rich foreign husband in the States, Tomoka refused, hung up on her, and blocked her former family's numbers. However, Honoka gave up on her earlier plan and tried for a rich husband in Japan, but her parents soon lost all their money and declared bankruptcy, with no one knowing their whereabouts.
  • "I got in a terrible car accident on my way home from work and…": Ayumi's affair with Seiya comes down to a crashing halt when Hiroki's father takes them both to task and calls the cheating wife's parents to pick her up. As a result, both lovebirds have to pay Hiroki and Seiya's wife for the damages. While Seiya finished paying the compensation, he was forced to quit his job and shaved his head in penance before moving to his wife's hometown to find a new job. As for Ayumi, her parents kick her out of the house for her trouble, driving her to have an abortion as she became pregnant with Seiya's child earlier on. She was reduced to sending Hiroki text messages begging to be let back until she suddenly stopped.
  • "My family made fun of my disability, until I became a CEO…" [sic]: Misaki exposes Sakiho's true colors to everyone in the latter's wedding day, helped by the bride herself insulting her shortly after being exposed. As a result, the groom cancels the wedding and proceeds to sue both her and her parents for breaking the engagement and for the cancellation fees. Furthermore, they end up in debt so deep they are barely getting by and according to Yamazaki, Misaki's assistant, they are lining up with the other homeless people on the street.
  • "Exposing a slacking worker during lockdown. What the camera showed was shocking!": Masayoshi exposes Yahata's affair with a department head with the Professor's help and proceeds to report it to the higher-ups despite her pleas. As a result, both lovebirds get fired for their trouble and the sleazy department head's wife sues Yahata for 300 million yen in alimony. Eventually, Yahata was reduced to working a night job to pay the debt.
  • "My sister always steals my boyfriends…": Shou Nishikata exposes Ako's plastic surgery after she tried to seduce him away from her younger sister Riko. Moreover, he also reveals that her plastic surgery debts totaled up to $20,000, driving the Honda couple to send the new couple away before scolding Ako. However, six months after being kicked out of the house and barred from returning until she paid it all off, she manages to make it big as a hostess in Kabukicho, paying back all her surgery debts and teaching girls how to use transformation makeup. However, Ako ends up back in a similar situation when she spends money on a host named Ren and becomes the subject of controversy after starting a feud with a rival hostess over some guy. Five years later, Ako lost her job and lived in complete poverty after finding her parents' house was demolished after the Nishikata couple took them in. According to Riko, Ako got into dangerous business at her club and therefore got kicked out.

Since Moemi squandered Mr. Inakawa's money on clubs, she has to pay him a lot in compensation. As for Mr. Inakawa, he returned to his parents' place and worked on one of his relatives' farms. While Moemi tried to run away from paying her debts, the debt collectors caught her and forced her to work in construction.

First, Grandma Atsue sold Yuu's family home and fronted the money for the ruined kimono, then forced the trio to pay it back to her. When Yuu complained about it, Hana's grandfather cut her off and proclaimed he was sending the three of them to work at a relative's place, with Yuu's ex-husband, Koki, taking Ururu's custody. Eventually, two burly delinquent-looking men take the trio away to work at a farm in the middle of nowhere.
  • "My mom had an affair while I was in hospital…": Manami and Megumi's mother becomes a pariah after the girls' father divorced her for cheating on him and using Manami's deteriorating health to cow him into submission until Megumi donated part of her liver. Afterward, Reina is saddled with cancellation, wedding, and compensation fees on top of the money she owes Yuuto. Moreover, since Reina quit her job in anticipation of her wedding, she tried to reapply only to be rejected for her poor performance. While she got a brief stint as a hostess, she was fired shortly after because she broke many unspoken rules in the bar. Eventually, she is implied to have turned to loan sharks and ends up taken away to work for not meeting the deadline.
  • "Spoiled son ran over me with his car and tried to pretend it never happened": Shizuka exposes her and Eiji's father's corruption after receiving the necessary input from Eri and Naoko. This results in the father and those connected to him being jailed, and even though Shizuka made sure to keep Eri in anonymity while she exposed how the man covered up Eiji's crimes, the bastard found out and tried to strangle her to death. Thankfully, everyone pulls him off Eri and calls the police, who arrest Eiji for assault. As a result, he gets a criminal record and drops out of college.
  • "My sister broke into my house, renovated it, and threw a party not knowing that": Rena ends up in trouble after having an afterparty at Nano's house without realizing it was sold to a wealthy man who viewed Nano and Masayoshi's DIY/renovation YouTube channel. As a result, the new homeowner charges Rena $300,000 for the damages she did to his house. Rena's parents call Nano to demand she pay the damages for her, but she refuses and hangs up on them.
