- The mere fact that this work contains characters belonging to minority and marginalized groups counts as heartwarming, even if said characters are mostly relegated to the supporting cast and many are just a bunch of stereotypes: these minorities are so starved for representation that they'll cry Tears of Joy at the sight of any character that they can remotely identify with.
- A character delivers a "The Reason You Suck" Speech to a character who belongs to one or more marginalized groups. What makes this heartwarming is that the insults weren't motivated by bigotry, and the character didn't say anything bigoted during their furious tirade.
