Heartwarming / The Wiggles

Go To

  • Greg making a guest appearance in the 2017 version of "Go Santa Go". His acting is a bit over the top, but you can tell it's because he's genuinely happy to be there.
  • This interview with Jeff where he discusses his time with the group and also why he had to retire. Talking about his experiences clearly makes him happy as he has a smile on his face almost throughout the entire video. Also, this last line from him:
Jeff: I don't think you ever stop being a Wiggle. I pinch myself all the time, it's such a privilege that I've had. To know that you're part of families all around the world, it gives you a really great warm feeling that you're part of their family. It's pretty amazing.
  • Greg urging the rest of the band to play their second scheduled bushfire relief concert without him after his cardiac arrest. He didn't want them to cancel their work for a good cause on his behalf.
    • Jeff and Murray consoling Anthony during the Jan. 18 encore as the latter is in tears over Greg nearly dying.
    • The outpouring of support for Greg after his medical emergency. Some notable instances include:
"We are thinking of you so much, sending love and healing ๐ŸŒผ Everyone adores you and wishes you a speedy recovery ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ"
"We will miss you tonight but will make sure we do you proud."
      • Anthony's tweet once it came to light that Greg was doing well in hospital. Bonus points for name-dropping a couple of the people who helped save Greg's life that night.
"I love this man, so glad he is still with us, CPR by Kimmy Antonelli and Steve Pace (our drummer ) help save Gregโ€™s life. Please get up to speed with CPR, I definitely will"
      • Lachy's simple Instagram story post, reading, "๐Ÿ’› u Greg".
      • And, of course, fans and non-fans alike rallying behind Greg and wishing him well.
      • The Jan. 18 encore, listed in Awesome Music and Awesome Moments on the main YMMV page. Everybody there is filled with love and support for Greg, and it comes through in the sheer energy of the performance.
  • Greg being discharged from the hospital.
  • Greg meeting Grace Jones, the nurse who, by all means, saved his life.
  • The Fan Nickname that has been given to Greg, Murray, and Jeff: The Unforgotten Wiggles.
  • At the 2016 reunion concert, one audience member hands a Dorothy hat to Anthony saying that every Wiggle has signed it twenty years earlier... except Jeff, which he finally did do.
  • After Emma was announced to be the new Yellow Wiggle, it was revealed that Sam had given Emma some words of encouragement after she told him that she was nervous for it, reassuring her that she'd do well and if she ever had any questions, she could come to him. He later said, "She's been doing a great job."
  • Greg recounting the three things he remembers of the Jan. 17 concert:
    • He calls Jeff by the Affectionate Nickname of "Fatty" before correcting himself.
    • He talks about how important it was to him to perform "The Monkey Dance", and how that memory subsequently stuck with him.
Greg: ... I love that song! It's a lot of fun! I love doing Wiggles shows.
  • "Georgia's Song", which Murray wrote as a lullaby for his daughter. The version heard on Go To Sleep Jeff! takes this up to eleven as it's Murray softly reciting the lyrics as a poem while being accompanied by a gorgeous symphonic score.
  • At this point, the fandom isn't really sure why Sam's work is suddenly getting a re-release and active recognition from the band. Some fans with a more optimistic bent, though, have theorized that Sam and Anthony may have made amends. If that's the casenote , then that's very sweet.
  • "We're All Fruit Salad!" is a song about racial diversity and, to quote the video's description delivers a message of "unity, respect, appreciation and acceptance".
  • From the documentary...
Lucia Field (Anthony's daughter and the second Blue Wiggle): I loved Dorothy as a child because she did ballet. I found out recently that Dorothy did ballet because... I did ballet.
  • Caterina's special announcement on February 26th, 2024 that she's pregnant with twin girls.
