Heartwarming / The Lost Metal

• Allik has taken up permanent residence in Elendel to be closer to his girlfriend. And he spends all his time baking, because apparently that's his real passion in life.
• Wayne stands up for VenDell to Entrone (who is calling him an "animal" puppeteered by Harmony), telling him not to insult his friends. VenDell is surprised and touched.
• Allriandre, the girl who's father Wayne killed, has fallen on hard times due to a failed art studio, debts to the wrong people, and an unexpected pregnancy. She always makes sure to treat her daughter well, though. Then Wayne's accountants come in and explain that he left almost his entire fortune to her—twenty million in cash, a hundred million in investments.
• Steris' talents and contingency planhs being appreciated and praised by the Elendel Governor during the events of the book, to the point that he offers to hire her to join his staff and use her skills to create plans for various potential disasters.
• Wax and Steris' happy marriage and support of one another throughout the entire book, with Steris encouraging & supporting Wax to go help Marasi & Wayne while she handles his duties in Elendel. He in turn encourages her to accept the job from the governor and they enjoy studying harmonium together.
