• Issue #3 gives us the greatest demonstration of how beloved the Flash is by Central City.
  • When the Top demands the Flash on a platter, everyone surprises him by holding signs and flying banners celebrating their city's hero. Even the otherwise-abrasive team at the crime lab are wholeheartedly cheering when the Flash shows up.
  The Flash: You all had faith in me when I was at my lowest — now let me show you what I can do when I'm at my best!
  • One kid hugs the Flash and thanks him for everything.
  • Flash then visits Henry Allen in prison and tells him that the advice he gave his son Barry was passed onto the Flash and he wanted to say thanks for the pep talk. What's extra heartwarming about this moment is that the Flash used his phasing ability to slip into Henry's cell, allowing him to finally spend some time with his dad without being separated by a pane of glass.
