Heartwarming / Tam Lin

• Janet saying that she wouldn't give up Tam Lin for any knight in her father's court is pretty heartwarming. The fact that she goes back to save him (at least in some versions) is just icing on the cake.
• Also, in a lot of versions her father is explicitly understanding of the fact that his daughter, a princess and important for political marriage, ruined that by getting pregnant. When he doesn't know about the faeries, he's ready to let his daughter marry a random knight for love. Given the Values Dissonance involved that's a huge deal.
