Heartwarming / Sonic Riders

• When the Rogues knock Tails off his board in the intro, Sonic immediately stops, rushes to the back of the race (where Tails is) and grabs his hand. Sonic then smiles at Tails, gives him a thumbs up, and puts him back on his board.
  • Knuckles even looks back, has an Oh, Crap! moment of realization and starts to panic until he sees Sonic has it covered. He really does care.
• In an early scene, Wave insults the Extreme Gear Tails customized and both Sonic and Amy get extremely defensive of him. Knuckles even chimes in with an Innocently Insensitive agreement ("tinkering is all he's really good at"). In Wave's perspective of the scene from the Babylon story, Wave's thoughts belie that, for a more recent Gear mechanic, the Blue Star is well made... so as insurance, she planted the bomb.
• Jet praising Storm on a job well done in Zero Gravity after he makes it back with two of the Arcs of the Cosmos. Storm is so dedicated to Jet and his causes that getting a genuine compliment turns him into a chuckling, geeked up goofball.
• Sonic defends Amy from the Babylon Rogues in Zero Gravity.
