Hey all, Scott's heartwarming moments here!

  • Super Mario Galaxy | Ten Years of Bliss, as the title implies, is 15 minutes of Scott gushing about the titular game, which he admits upfront is his all-time favorite video game.
  • Despite the grim subject matter in Death of a Franchise, Scott still remains optimistic in the end about the prospect of there being new entries in various dormant franchises
Scott: What may not work out now may work in the future. Come on, Mega Man is back, Metroid is back, X-COM is back, f*cking Bubsy! Anything's possible. If you're a fan of a certain series that hasn't seen any love recently, there's a pretty decent shot that someday it'll be back.
  • Scott's Character Development between A Very Madden 08 Christmas, where he rejected the idea of there existing other Madden games aside from 08, and It's Awesome Baby, which begins with Scott celebrating through song the very fact there exist so many different Madden games made for so many people.
  • The second half of It's a Bargain Bin Christmas. Chet's ghost helps Scott realize the error of his ways and convinces him to apologize to the gala attendees, who also apologize to Scott for how ungrateful they reacted to him giving them stockpiles of bargain bin games. To seal the deal, they give Scott copies of Madden 08 on the Mac and PSP, along with the 08 Collection for PC. When Scott gets home, he adds the games to his now complete Madden 08 collection while also receiving a letter from Kay Swiss about his bankruptcy being cured. Then he hears a knock on the door only to see a new desk to replace his old one that he sold off to fund the gala, courtesy of Chet and Vince Young. D'aww!
  • God assuring Scott in You're Not an RPG Guy that it's completely okay for him to not like RPGs while also encouraging him to not completely write off each and every one he comes across. Really, the entire ending of the video qualifies.
Scott: I think I get it. I'm not an RPG guy! [...] RPGs aren't my go-to genre and that's okay! Just like how everybody doesn't like platformers or sports games or first-person shooters or party games! My criticisms of RPGs were just opinions! They're the same reasons why people love RPGs and that's okay! But that doesn't mean that I can't ever like RPGs! I really like Dragon Quest, and some Final Fantasy games I like and I'm just really happy that Xenoblade's doing well and Persona 5 is really coo-no, I'm going too far.
  • The episode on toys-to-Life games was brought about by a Make-A-Wish kid, Zak, who appeared in the episode as Dex Mohs. In the video description, Scott explained that Zak had wanted Scott to do a video on Skylanders: Trap Team, but because of the difficulties of talking about one specific toys-to-life game, it was decided to talk about the game genre as a whole.
  • In The Gifts of Gaming, Scott admits his fears that his friend group only associates with him because they simply end up roped up in his nonsense (and the promise of gifts on this particular day). When he does so, Target Employee and Jerry both admit that they value him as a friend, with the latter saying he was off the clock from his job as Scott's therapist all day, and that they came to be with him and each other, not for the presents. Seeing this bizarre group of people admit that they really are friends is extremely heartwarming.
  • In Nintendo 64: Nintendo's Best Mistake, Scott starts with putting up posters labeled "MISSING: SCOTT CARING ABOUT THE NINTENDO 64. IF FOUND, CALL NOBODY". He goes to talk about the major issues the system went through during its lifetime that not many people are aware of. But at the end of the video, he relents that in spite of all untapped potential, its graphical limitations, design choices, lack of variety in games, etc. he still has a soft spot for the N64 for the groundbreaking games the system is known for and the impact it had on the gaming industry as a whole. He says those few really good games are a good enough reason to play the console today and that at the end of the day, he cares about the Nintendo 64. Scott immediately realizes what he said and goes to take down his missing poster.
