• The party scene, complete with joints and a "Tracks of My Tears" singalong.
• The night dialogue between Elias and Taylor. Then there's the deleted scene "No Regrets", which extends said dialogue.
  Elias: I ain't got no regrets. I had my time in the sun.
• Oddly enough, the platoon, even when divided, coming together for the most part when they are ambushed and later doing the ambushing in the final battle.
• Seeing King get to go home safely. His jubilation is both amusing and powerful.
  King: (from the last helicopter out of the country) GOODBYE, MOTHERFUCKERS!
