When you have a Slice of Life and Family of Choice premise for a large cast in Fate/Grand Order, smiles can't be kept away.

  • In general, the bond Vy shares with her Grailed Servants. As the story goes on and more join the ranks, Novum Chaldea has a "Grail Lounge" made just for the Servants to relax in, being a room that isn't even covered on tours given to new recruits because of how personal it is. Anyone outside of the Grailed Servants and Vy has to ask permission to enter, and inside is a break room just for them. It helps that the Lounge even has a hammock and an extra bed, where Vy could be found sleeping for her daily nap to get away from the hubbub. And all of the Grailed are close enough to play UNO together and even have sleepovers when things are particularly stressful. Even if they all came from different time periods, the Grailed and Vy make up their own Family of Choice and it's not going to break anytime soon.
  • Day 1 focuses entirely on Achilles' introduction to Chaldea, where he starts his Odd Friendship with Marie Antoinette over their being Vy's first front-line Riders. The chapter even ends with Achilles taking Marie's hand and walking with her through the hallways of Chaldea, about to sing her famous "Vive La France."
  • Day 2 has the perspective switch to the moment Sieg was fully Ascended, where after saying his final Ascension line, starts to panic when Vy begins shedding Tender Tears over the whole thing. It results in Sieg, Astolfo, Atalante, Mash, and Achilles initiating a Group Hug to get Vy out of the possible Heroic Self-Deprecation spiral.
  • Day 3 focuses on Saber Arturia's first moment of Not So Stoic in Chaldea. Despite being faced with a Heroic BSoD Vy, Arturia merely offers her cape and a hug to bring Vy to bed for some well-deserved rest in the middle of Part 1.5.
  • The entirety of Robin and Vy's developing bond both pre- and post-Relationship Upgrade can be seen as heartwarming, because Robin was Vy's childhood hero in spite of everything, and getting to know him only allowed her to love him more, much to his surprise.
    • Extra Day 5 reveals why Vy uses "Big Robin" as an Affectionate Nickname for him. No matter what Robin sees himself as, to a Master like Vy, he is the best Robin Hood she could ask for:
Vy: "Hero or not, you're Big Robin. My Robin Hood. Bandit or not, thief or not, you're the Robin I summoned. So to me, you're bigger than anyone else."
    • It's all but spelled out in Extra Day 4 that the reason Kama was unable to fully corrupt Robin into a skeleton puppet like the game canon of the Ooku event was The Power of Love Vy put into the Grails that she used to bring Robin to Level 100. Even Kama could do nothing but huff their nose at it. Vy doesn't hesitate in giving Robin a Headbutt of Love once she and the other Servants find him soon after in the chapter, crying from sheer relief at finding him alive.
    • Day 14 even showed that, in spite of his own previously established Suspiciously Specific Denial at the possibility of developing feelings for Vy, Robin can't leave his little sparrow alone after going through the hell that was Agartha, giving her the Cooldown Hug she desperately needed from sheer instinct.
    • Day 21 shows BB receiving the middle finger from Vy twice in her time in SE.RA.PH., all because BB called Robin a "thieving wastrel" and then some. Meltryllis could do nothing but approve.
    • Day 23 has Vy waiting for Robin to come home to the Carter household in the Salem Singularity after he goes out on a patrol in the middle of the night, and despite his shock, Robin reciprocates the gesture via a Bridal Carry to bed and obliging Vy's Moment of Weakness by staying at her side once she falls back asleep.
Vy: "Could you… Could you stay with me? Please?"
Robin: "Always. For as long as you need me, little sparrow, I'll be here."
    • The second half of Day 45 has Robin taking an injury from an imposter of Lavinia in Salem, and instead of bursting out in Tranquil Fury with Circe for letting him get hurt, Vy instead stays quiet and chooses to stay at his bedside while Sanson treats him, holding his hand the entire time. Once he wakes up the next day, Robin makes a Call-Back to Day 23 with the following quote:
Robin: "Hey… little sparrow… what did I tell you about waiting for me? I told you… I'd be coming back to you, didn't I?"
    • The entirety of Day 46 explores how Vy and Robin got together, and the catalyst was Vy facing the doppelganger of herself made by Kama in the Ooku, and after Vy tries to apologize for what the doppelganger said, Robin is the one to initiate The Glomp and says the following:
Robin: "Even if you felt like that, it's still you, little sparrow. You didn't have to hold it all in just to prove a point to me or anyone else, Vy. It's still you." (mentally) Why wouldn't I care about you? It's you, Vy. My little sparrow. Mine and no one else's.
    • Day 56 has a surprising moment come from Archer Gilgamesh of all people when helping Passionlip, as he recites Robin and Vy's mutual love as an example as to why Lip should improve herself:
Gilgamesh: "Then take that green rat for example, the one our Master chose to Grail first out of all the Servants here. Although I personally saw him as a disgrace to the great Archer class back in the Moon Cell, the way he is here has proven to me beyond a doubt that he has changed since then. That he deserves the Archer name. Just by finding a girl who looked up to him, a single 'little sparrow' who understood him — saw him as the knight he wanted to be and desired to help him — he refined his methods and words to become that knight. He took off his hood, interacted with others beyond his comfort of the Sherwood Forest, and worked himself to the limits. All to regain his own face and become human again. All for returning the love of that little fool of a girl who never truly grew up… even going about sharing a team with my unobtainable King of Knights just to protect her… It's rather beautiful if not for how sickeningly sweet it is. If not for it being our current reality, I would've asked Andersen or even that bumbling buffoon Shakespeare to make a love story out of it." (pause) "A nameless Heroic Spirit was able to embody the title of 'Robin Hood' over all the odds working against him because he knew he needed to change. Because he desired that change, and he worked towards making that change, never taking second chances for granted. For you, Alter Ego Passionlip, what do you plan to do if you want to change? If you truly want to see Vy again?"
    • Day 74 covers Robin and Vy's first meeting all the way back in America in Part 1 and how their relationship started: Vy heard Robin introduce himself with his True Name, and after confirming his identity, goes into Squee mode via jumping up and down and clapping her hands just from seeing him. She even calls him "cool" and emphasizes how much she grew up with his stories, making him have a Luminescent Blush at the attention.
    • Lost Day 1, in spite of the change of circumstances that resulted in the mana-transfer kissing to happen earlier in Salem, still keeps one constant from the original mana-transfer in the Ooku: Robin is still conscious enough of Vy's fears to hear her out and, in spite of his own growing lust, gives her space to breathe when she wants to say something. Also helped by how he constantly asks for her consent before starting anything, and despite getting carried away by giving her a hickey on the neck later down the line, he only continues the growing make-out session when she asks him to.
  • Despite Day 15's portrayal of a magecraft-inexperienced Master attempting to help bring a resolution to Arturia and Mordred's familial relationship, Vy still persisted in going through with her Workaholic tendencies merely because she didn't want another family going through the things hers did during the Foreign God's Bleaching of the world.
    • And the thing is? Vy's efforts paid off. By the time of Day 61, when Amakusa Shirou Tokisada is summoned into Novum Chaldea post-Olympus, Amakusa and Semiramis witness Mordred and Arturia having a good sparring match together, exchanging banter like true family.
  • Day 20 focuses on the return of Caster Leonardo Da Vinci, and it's all but outright said the main reason why Vy wanted to bring her back in Novum Chaldea was to help Mash be happy again.
  • Day 21 focuses on Meltryllis both during and after the SE.RA.PH. event, remembering her other self's time in the Digital Sea up until the moment when she receives metal prosthetics from Vy to use outside of battle to walk around Novum Chaldea like a normal girl.
  • Day 26 flashes back to Part 1 of the canon storyline, where Dr. Roman first witnesses Vy being an Elective Mute from all the fighting and mana exhaustion. Without hesitation, he takes her to Da Vinci to make her a whiteboard, cementing Vy's view of him as another Parental Substitute during the Incineration.
    • The last conversation between Dr. Roman and Robin at the end of the chapter also implies the reason Robin starts softening from his status as The Cynic and into the Lovable Rogue that follows Vy around is because Dr. Roman asked him to look out for her.
  • Days 34 and 35 explore the Resummoning of Saber Musashi after the pruning of Olympus, who, unlike canon, was Spared by the Adaptation thanks to Vy using her tsuba eyepatch from Shimosa as a catalyst. When coming back, Musashi is greeted by Vy tackle-hugging her and sobbing out her relief at seeing her again. Musashi returns the favor once Vy starts reeling from the delayed Heroic BSoD that's been plaguing her since the Lostbelts started, giving Vy a Cooldown Hug and a sisterly kiss to the forehead.
  • All of Day 37 goes back to the first days Scathach Skadi experienced at being summoned to Chaldea, shedding quiet Tender Tears for her pruned world while forming an Odd Friendship of her own with Sieg when witnessing Vy trying to make sea-salt ice cream for her. The chapter also calls back to Skadi's first debut in Day 4, where she pulls a Big Damn Heroes on Vy against Kadoc and Lostbelt!Anastasia in the Russian Lostbelt. To someone like this Skadi, you don't hurt her daughter and try to make excuses to get away with it. Her daughter made her sea-salt ice cream and cared, Kadoc and the other Crypters didn't.
  • The latter half of Day 40 focuses on the first day Mash and Vy had after coming back from the Chinese Lostbelt, just after all the Servants are summoned back into Novum Chaldea. Vy runs out after a nightmare to find Robin, Marie, Achilles, and other familiar faces in the new Dining Hall, and initiates The Glomp with Robin, shedding her fair share of Tender Tears out of sheer relief at knowing they're all back. Mash ends up joining the hug after an encouraging push from Rider Da Vinci, quietly refusing Beryl's previous affections before the formation of Team A while calling Vy and the other Servants her family.
  • Day 44 has Meltryllis admit in her thoughts why she would never follow Wodime in her No-Holds-Barred Beatdown:
Meltryllis: She made me legs that let me be human, not you. And you never bothered to look into me, did you?
  • After getting her Trauma Button smashed in Day 55, Day 56 starts with Vy being surrounded by the Grailed to watch movies together in the Grail Lounge, bundled up in blankets and the No Face May King while eating popcorn and strawberry ice cream. Sure, she's still in a Heroic BSoD thanks to what happened, but the affection and sympathy each of the Servants give her help alleviate the situation. Even if Vy is stuck somewhere, her Family of Choice in the Grailed make it very clear they're going to help her get out of it, and it's not just the Grailed either. The rest of the chapter shows how the other Servants seem to be keeping up Vy's attention so that she doesn't have to see Passionlip sooner than necessary, enforcing a rule to keep them away from each other while letting Passionlip handle things for herself.
    • The chapter ends on two things: (1) a Headbutt of Love between Passionlip and Vy to restart their Master-Servant relationship, and (2) a Call-Back to the beginning of Day 55, where Passionlip uses her own whiteboard to ask Robin and Melt for help with training.
  • Day 57 comes back to Valentine's Day, where only a day after, Vy works with Billy, Geronimo, Robin, Achilles, and EMIYA to play a concert just for Mash. Because the day after Valentine's Day marks the day Vy and Mash first met - their "kouhai-versary" as Vy happily calls it.
  • Day 59 is dedicated to Sanson comforting Vy in regards to his other self's death in Salem during a medical appointment, making it clear to her (even through his own weakness in seeing her cry) that he's never blamed her for it. The latter half of the chapter shows Nezha, Marie, Robin, and Mata Hari all waiting outside the medical office for Vy to come out, with Nezha and Marie being the first ones to run to Vy's side once they notice the tear tracks on her face. The chapter even ends on Sanson having a heart-to-heart with Robin about their roles as Servants while Nezha, Marie, and Mata Hari start playing with Vy's hair to cheer her up.
  • Day 60 has Mata Hari helping Vy out with giving a gift to Robin for Lunar New Year, and it ends up being a ring to match the one Robin gave Vy on their third Valentine's Day together in Day 30. Just to solidify Robin and Vy's mutual promise to get married one day after the Lostbelts have all been resolved.
  • Day 68 is an entire chapter dedicated to Caster Cu Chulainn, from Fuyuki all the way to Faerie Britain, and even back in Fuyuki, seeing the stars in Vy's eyes when asking for his help was enough to convince him she could save the world. Cu even ends up being the one to come up with Vy's bo staff, and the chapter ends with Vy beating him in a spar at Orkney, pinning him down so thoroughly he can't help but be glad to have saw her through.
  • Day 70 goes back to Part 1 with Dr. Roman, and it turns out the main reason Vy tries to be so kind to all the Servants stems back to him giving her the encouragement she so desperately needed after all the verbal abuse that was thrown at her from Olga and other enemies from the Incineration.
Dr. Roman: "Just because Olga said you weren't the first Master Chaldea would've chosen to save the world doesn't mean you have to be like everyone else."
  • Despite the chaos that ensues in Lost Day 2 with following Fate/Grand Carnival, it all starts because, unlike the female Ritsuka in the show, Vy agrees to use her paycheck to help with supplying mana for all the Servants, something that makes Nero's hosting of the Olympics become an entire event dedicated to showing the Servants' love for Vy in return. The selfless and honest gesture even leaves Da Vinci speechless, and when Chaldea tries to pull its canonical limiting of the Servant roster of the Olympics to 4-stars and above, Vy's loud objections earns more of the Servants' respect while Chaldea has no choice but to stand down.
    • The spectator booth that Vy and Mash use in the chapter is also more crowded compared to canon, thanks to Vy having already grailed Robin, Achilles, and Arturia - the three of which whom form their own Fire-Forged Friends and Bash Brothers dynamic in terms of commentating and looking after Vy. Mash is also treated with respect, helped by how Vy bemoans being unable to give Mash a Grail but still seeing her as her "only kouhai."
    • The Olympics even ends once Vy starts getting sleepy and the other Servants notice she's not in the spectator booth anymore after Robin carries her out for her daily nap. Chaldea's thrown into a new bit of (less destructive) chaos thanks to all participants (outside of Mash, Arturia, and Achilles) going on a goose chase trying to find Vy to prove themselves to her. Diarmuid is one of the few Servants who isn't on said chase, as Ereshkigal and Medea let him into their shared secret as Servants serving Vy since Part 1 - Medea knew a spell that concealed Vy's room from the public eye, allowing her to nap in Robin's loving embrace in peace. Once Diarmuid gets a good look at the scene, he asks Ereshkigal for pictures to commemorate the moment.
