Even a film about parents trying to kill their own children has a couple of these moments:
- Watching Kendall and her sister Jeannie celebrate briefly over Jeannie's baby's birth is actually pretty touching. Unfortunately, the signal then affects Jeannie...
- Carly takes the time to comfort Josh when he's scared while they're trapped in the basement.
- Adults not affected by the signal, attempting to protect children from their parents; such as the security staff (in addition to a few cops) attempting to stop what's essentially a horde at school, then there is the hospital staff too with the newborn infants such as Jeannie's.
