  • It is more of a heartwarming attitude, rather than a moment, but the fact that Williams treats each of the nations of Osten Ard with such a respect. In fact, you can find good people anywhere, regardless of their nationality, birth or gender - be it a noble or a commoner, man or woman, priest or rake. You can find good - if troubled - people even among the bad guys. The most important villains - i.e. King Elias, Guthwulf, Ineluki - are treated with sympathy, while there are few truly evil men besides Pryrates, and they are marginal compared to the sympathetic ones.
  • Simon and Miriamele in To Green Angel Tower. "I've loved you so long" followed by everything working out as well as it possibly could.
  • The revelation that Vorzheva's ominous dream of Josua coming home and telling her that now he had what he had always wanted meant his happiness about faking his own death, rescinting his crown and becoming a commoner.
