  • Every time any of the official couples, especially Miki and Yuu, hug or kiss or just exist in each others presence.
  • Meiko becomes stressed while trying to write her novel for the contest. Satoshi goes out of his way to help Meiko take her mind off of writing and having fun with him at a local amusement park, letting her have some fresh air while at the same time giving her more ideas for the story.
  • The ending of Ginta and Tsutomu’s fight have them bursting out laughing at each other’s bruised faces and patching things up, with both of them holding each other's shoulders and proudly declaring that they love Arimi. Tsutomu, in tears, has a change of heart and reluctantly decides to support Ginta and Arimi’s relationship, showing us just how blood is Thicker Than Water. Even Arimi, who was scared at the fact that the two were literally fighting over her, is moved by this.
  • All of the childhood memories between Yuu and Anju. It helps that it around the time that he was suffering from his depression after thinking that Youji wasn't his real father.
  • After rekindling her relationship with Namura and later plans for their wedding, Meiko kindly thanks the heartbroken Satoshi for (unintentionally) making that possible, and despite no longer having mutual feelings for each other, the two both show that they still respect and care for one another.
  • Yayoi's existence was made as a way for the anime to show more sympathy towards Tsutomu. She was first seen at the New Year's festival and the two begin to connect with one another while looking for their friends. Unfortunately, after Yayoi finds her friends and the two part ways, Tsutomu forgets to get any information about her which reinforces the "bad luck" charm he got earlier. However, on the Valentine's Day episode, the two reunite when Tsutomu stumbles across her getting rejected by a boy she had interest in and sits alone by herself, and then Tsutomu, who was lamenting about not having a Valentine comes in, offers her genuine kindness, and the two begin a relationship afterwards, which finally puts an end to his bad luck. Squee!!!!
  • Tsutomu coming to the aid of Ginta, who's on the verge of tears after Arimi breaks up with him, a ripple effect of comforting Miki after she and Yuu break up as the result of of Jinny's lie. He along with Yayoi and Miki lure them into an amusement park and help the two get back together.
