During their first fight in space the team is told to abandon the station and leave the civilians that couldn't be evacuated, after some doubts Izuru decides to ignore orders and fights the Wulgarus, soon followed by the rest of the Rabbits who refuse to leave him and the civilians behind.
Episode 2 shows the civilian, that the Rabbits saved the previous episode, expressing their gratitude to the team.
Asagi throughout Episode 21 explains his reasons for wanting to keep the still potentially at risk Izuru from seeing the front lines and seemingly getting over his normal anxiety issues.
