"Sheriff hat!"
- The pilot starts with Mako's goons celebrating his birthday, giving him a pot of gold and a special "birthday cake".
- Before Snag and Rawhide burst into his office, the Mayor drinks out of a mug labelled "#1 Mayor". A Freeze-Frame Bonus reveals that Rawhide made the mug for him, as the label's signed "♡ RH"
- BW's face when Rawhide and Snag are fired indicates she feels guilt over it. Even though she is introduced by pestering Rawhide, her expression when the duo lose their jobs shows that she not only accepts that she was at fault, but it's the first moment to show that she does actually care for Rawhide.
- The little Tumbleweedian gently pushing a sausage to a dejected Snag in the saloon. Sure, it has a bite taken out of it, but it's the thought that counts.
- When Rawhide is sulking at her father's grave, BW helps motivate her to get back into action to get her job back by making it look as if she got her badge back. While it was actually a leaf, it was enough to perk Rawhide back up.
- Despite Snag and Rawhide going their separate ways on rather sour terms after Rhubarb relieves them of their duties, Snag refuses to rat her out when Mako takes over the Gulch and has him at his mercy.
- After Mako is eaten by the Sand Worm, Snag walks up to Rawhide and puts her hat back on her head while calling it a sheriff hat like she did earlier, which gets Rawhide to smile.
- During the credits, it is shown that the tumbleweedians that infested the gulch are put up for adoption. Due to how Mayor Rhubarb felt about them earlier, it's nice of Rawhide and Snag to be working on finding them each a new home rather than having them exterminated.
- Despite calling BW a thorn in her side and often being upset when she sees her around, Rawhide actually hangs out with BW in one picture during the credits, showing that the two of them actually can get along.
