Heartwarming / Kurt Angle

• After beating "Stone Cold" Steve Austin at Unforgiven 2001 for the WWF Championship, Kurt was mobbed by his family in the ring, as they lifted him onto their shoulders. His fellow stars celebrated in the ring too.
  Jim Ross: And you only wish, and you only know, that Kurt's father is looking down and saying "My God, my boy did it again!"
  • What’s more heartwarming is this came 12 days after the world changed forever. The WWF gave us this feel-good moment because we needed it.
• When he returned from an injury in 2003, he was greeted to the "You Suck!" chants, but his response is different from usual. This was before The Big Show interrupted him.
  Angle: Y'know, I can't believe I'm gonna say this... but you have no idea how good it feels to hear those words again. Play my music! [conducts the crowd for the "You Suck!" chants until...]

• In a interview, Angle says that wrestling has helped him through all of his life's troubles. It shows how much he loves the industry he works in.
• When he returned to the WWE after 11 years of being away, his music was met with a rousing chant of "YOU SUCK!" like the old days. He's been away for a while, but the WWE Universe didn't forget him and was ready to welcome him back with an old favorite.
