Heartwarming / Juno

• "Vanessa, if you're still in, I'm still in."
• "Also, um...I think I'm in love with you?"
• The look on Vanessa's face as she finally feels the baby kick.
  • Also, earlier, when you see Vanessa playing with one of her friend's daughters. It's where we, and Juno, first see her Hidden Depths.
  • Special mention to when Juno was upset about Mark leaving Vanessa, she starts to run out, and Vanessa, in a total motherly fashion, asks her what is wrong and instantly asks her husband what he did to make her upset.
• "You're one of the coolest people I've ever met and you don't even try."
  • "Actually, I try really hard."
• "No matter what, the right person is still gonna think the sun shines out of your ass."
  • Despite being played for humor, his line after that speech about how her dad will always be there for her is also heartwarming.
  • Mac also consoles a despondent Juno in her hospital bed after she has the baby, assuring her that she will be back there again, when its on her terms.
• Juno and Bleeker's song at the end of the movie.
• It's great to see Brenda and Juno having a great relationship and not a strained step-family one. Brenda is completely supportive of Juno, comes with her for her ultrasound (and awesomely chews out the ultrasound technician for suggesting Juno wouldn't be a fit mother) and is even the one who is with her for the birth. Clearly Juno trusts her completely and leans on her. While Juno is in labor Brenda even refers to her as "my kid" to the hospital staff.
  • Also while she calls her mother's children with another man her "replacement kids" she calls her dad's child with Brenda her sister.
• Leah is a ditz, but she's also a truly wonderful and supportive friend. Juno gets pregnant and decides to get an abortion? Leah (after realizing Juno's not kidding) offers to call the clinic and make the appointment for her. Juno can't go through with the abortion? Leah helps her find a nice family to adopt the baby. Juno has to tell her parents she's pregnant? Leah's there—and she's there throughout the pregnancy and when Juno goes into labor. If you were in a crisis, you could do far worse than to have a friend like Leah at your side.
• Mac and Brenda's reaction to finding out Juno is pregnant. She's obviously apprehensive about telling them, but when she does, they don't blow up or scold her. While Mac is obviously shocked, saying Juno's obviously not ready to be a parent (a sentiment she shares) and that he's going to punch Paulie Bleeker the next time he sees him, he also says he wants to go with Juno to meet the prospective adoptive parents. Brenda, meanwhile, gently asks if Juno's considered an abortion, but when Juno makes it clear she's made her choice, she immediately gets to work on helping Juno prepare; pre-natal vitamins, scheduling a visit to the doctor, figuring out where Juno will give birth, etc. Given the massive curveball they just had thrown at them, they handle it like champs.
