- Tetsuro and Maetel's relationship throughout the series is warm and gentle. They both are able to rely on each other, and while Maetel does act aloof and mysterious in regards to her motivations, she does have Tetsuro's interests at heart.
- Also, don't mess with one of them, because the other will go after you with no hesitation.
- Over the course of the series, the Conductor grows fond of the pair, and even goes back for them with the 999 during the finale.
- Anytime Tetsuro gets to act like a kid. Usually doesn't last long, but it's cute to watch him enjoy himself for once.
