Heartwarming / Fate/Harem Antics

  • Iri involves most of the girls in the War purely for shipping purposes, but she was particularly happy to finally get a chance to help Sakura, since she knows her life sucks. With just a few minor changes, Sakura's evil grandfather is killed, Sakura is freed from her connection to the Matou family, her asshole brother is left a terrified wreck hiding in the mansion, and Sakura is able to tell Shirou she loves him far earlier than in canon.
  • Kiritsugu suggests letting himself be summoned as a Servant so that he can kill old man Acht for Illya. Unfortunately he doesn't have the right spirit to fit in a Servant vessel, but it's the thought that counts.
  • Iri was able to communicate with Illya at least a little from inside the Grail. Considering how absolutely horrifying the Grail's communications were in the canon timeline, that's nice enough on its own. But Iri was also able to tell Illya that Kiritsugu hadn't abandoned them, and that he had adopted a brother for Illya to meet one day.
  • Caster looks down on herself due to her physical weakness and relatively weak spells. Luvia assures her that she is a worthy Servant.
  • The first meeting between Shielder and Saber. Saber was clearly expecting a violent confrontation like what happened with Shielder's father in Fate/Zero, but Shielder still believes in her king and earnestly says she hopes they won't have to fight.
  • When Assassin discovers that she can touch Shielder without hurting her, she almost cries tears of joy. She is later seen sitting quite comfortably on Shielder's lap.
  • Ruler quickly becomes a big sister figure to Taiga.
  • In each sex scene, Shirou does his best to be gentle and make sure his partner is satisfied.
  • When Shirou reluctantly admits he cheated on Sakura with Illya, Sakura says she still loves him.
  • Shirou comments to himself that although he loves Sakura, he cares about Saber and Rider as well. Trying to imagine losing them makes him feel like when his father died.
  • After initially yelling at Shirou for foolishly inviting Illya and Berserker to his house, Rin shows her vulnerable side. She pleads with him to be smarter and care about his life because he is the glue keeping their alliance together. If he dies, they will start fighting each other again, and she does not want that.
  • After Luvia cooks them a meal, Caster looks down on herself again because she lived her whole life getting servants to cook for her, so she doesn't know how to cook. Luvia says it is nothing to be ashamed of and offers to teach her.
  • Archer urges Rin to stop worrying so much about the Tohsaka-Edelfelt rivalry, especially since she's the last Tohsaka and doesn't need to prove herself. She points out if Rin keeps being so stressed, she's going to break.
  • Ruler saves Assassin from falling out of the sky at the cost of being poisoned because she trusts in Caster saving her. Caster indeed heals her, and Assassin is amazed at seeing another way people can touch her.
  • Shirou defeats Angelica but spares her life because he swore to save everybody, which includes her. This finally convinces her to surrender and seemingly join his side.
  • Caster uses a spell to allow Ayako to give Assassin a hug.
  • Shirou comments that with the heirs of the three founding families, Rin, Sakura, and Illya working together, they might be able to change the rules so that everyone can get a wish without killing each other. Everyone is amazed because they never thought of that, and say it might be possible.
  • Taiga is sad that Shirou is becoming independent and no longer needs her. After he assures that he will always need her, she confesses and kisses him. Saber and Ruler approve.
