• The fact that unlike in canon, Saber's Excalibur attack that destroyed the Grail in Fate/Zero did serious damage to Angra Mainyu, allowing Irisviel to kill him and take over the Grail.
• When Sakura summons Rider, Irisviel makes a small adjustment so the ceiling falls on Zouken, allowing them to escape. Later, Zouken summons Assassin, then gets himself killed when he slaps her for insolence and is melted by her deadly poisons.
• When Lancer attacks Shirou in the school, he manages to block her spear strike with a Reinforced table and escape, avoiding his canon original death.
• The omake where Gunner challenges Gilgamesh to defend humanity from him.
• Berserker completely overwhelms Saber, Rider, and Archer in both strength and skill. When Archer manages to shoot her, she shrugs it off. She summons two clones of herself who are just as powerful to take them on individually. Though Saber manages to slash the original, it is likely Berserker would have won if Illya didn't decide to leave.
• When Archer shoots Lancer in the leg and attempts to kill her with Golden Wild Hunt, Shielder saves her with Lord Camelot.
• Archer's battle with Assassin and Rider's battle with Temptress, which together end up completely destroying the school.
• Assassin's battle with Temptress, which Assassin barely escapes when Temptress destroys the neighborhood.
• Fiore gets Rin on the ropes with her Bronze-Link Manipulators, while Archer and Gunner have a grand battle with a lot of Shoot the Bullet and a scene where Gunner is blasted with Golden Wild Hunt, only to step out of the flames.
• The moment where Shirou awakens his true powers and brings out Kanshou and Bakuya to even the odds against Angelica.
• Saber and Shirou are faring very badly against Avenger and Angelica respectively. Avenger is Saber's Man of Kryptonite and Angelica is simply too skilled. Then Lancer and Bazett step in to even the odds.
• Ruler is able to battle Berserker to a draw even when Berserker reveals her Mystery Slayer skill makes her a Man of Kryptonite for nearly everyone.
• Luvia and Caster lures the group into a trap where they get ambushed by the Dragon Tooth Warriors. Ayako takes one out with a chair and then arms herself with a halberd to fight side by side with Assassin.
• Caster then attacks them with the Colchian Dragon, but Rin points out Assassin could defeat it since it was defeated with poison in the original myth.
• Ayako, Sakura, Rider, and Assassin take out several more of the skeletons. Before Assassin can attack the Colchian Dragon, Avenger suddenly appears and takes control of it, while summoning several wyverns and telling her minions to kill them all.
• Temptress vaporizes a few wyverns with her scream.
• In Shirou's rematch with Angelica, he seemingly awakens his full potential and overpowers her, ending with his swords at her throat. He spares her life because he swore to save everyone, including her. This wins her over with the strength of his convictions.
