Namely - Tiger is now officially Ami's 'older and bolder sibling' accepted by her Mom and engaging in traditional older sibling behavior. Awwwww! - Jadeite goes to whatever lengths are needed to retrieve Ami from Crowned Death and the Unraveller. On the one hand, it could be interpreted as a practical matter, since she provides him with valuable resources and influence. On the other hand, it's pretty clear that he really just can't stand to lose her.
