When Hisashi first hears about the bad news of Izuku's diagnosis from Inko, he drops everything at work and flies back home in order to lift his son's spirits up, even booking the whole family a luxury cruise...too bad that the World Pirates and Sanjuan Wolf's battle happens soon after.
When he sees a little girl lost and scared on the sinking ship with seemingly nobody trying to help her, Izuku, despite the heartbreak of knowing he'll never have a Quirk, still shows his heroic heart when he rushes in to bring her to safety himself.
When Rayleigh finds Izuku shipwrecked, he almost immediately takes him in to give them a hot meal and a place to sleep. His wife, Shakuyaku, is more than happy to help her husband tend to the boy.
Just how quickly Izuku ends up bonding with Marco, Rebecca, and the Seraphim. It's especially poignant because, before meeting them, the Seraphim had only really known the scientists inhabiting Egghead.
As Izuku and his friends set sail back to Japan, they give Rayleigh a tearful farewell and thanks for all he's done for them. As they set off, the whole gang ends up singing "Bink's Sake" as a final farewell song.

Izuku heals All-Might's injury with some help from Chikara, Dorothy, and Maetel. The Symbol of Peace is beyond overjoyed at being healed and gives Izuku a Big Damn Hug.
Hilda shows herself to be a Shipper on Deck for Ben when he meets Penny. When the others comment that they thought she'd be jealous since Ben's her Childhood Friend, she simply says that she'd give the world for his happiness.
Izuku and his crew immediately take a shine to Eri after rescuing her. Not only do they comfort the frightened child, but they are also downright furious when they hear of the abuse she suffered at Overhaul's hands. Hilda lets Eri snuggle into her big belly and Yaato vehemently declares that the crew will protect her happiness with their lives if they have to.
Despite Ben revealing himself as the Quirk Judge after Overhaul's defeat, Izuku and the rest of the crew don't think any different of him, considering him an honorary member of their Nakama alongside Hilda and Rosa. Ben is only further moved to tears when Eri calls him one of her heroes. The scene of their bond causes the normally cynical Sir Nighteye to only see a bright future for them, which helps show him that the future can indeed be changed.
Izuku ends up having a Meet Cute moment with Ochako after the first day of school, with the rest of his crew quickly becoming a collective Shipper on Deck for the two.
Ben helps modify the Quirks for Tooru, Denki, and Yuuga. This is especially poignant with Tooru and Yuuga, who are eternally grateful to Ben and give him a Big Damn Hug each.
