The Books

  • Angelina's so excited about being a new big sister that she can't think about dancing. Given that her her first book had her daydreaming about dance to the near-exclusion of everything else, it really shows her excitement.
  • Angelina's family understanding, rather than considering it bratty and ill behaved, that she threw a tantrum after the family focused on the new baby. Her mother comforts her and says that they still love her as much as the new baby, and the new baby just needs more attention now. Her grandfather even fixes the china doll prize she broke—and then Angelina does her new dance for baby Polly as well.
  • Angelina getting over her jealousy long enough to speak in Angelina on Stage so Henry remembers his line—followed by him saying "my very best friend, the fairy."
  • In Angelina's Birthday Angelina's cousin Henry gifts her a new bike horn and she thanks him, even though she doesn't know when she'll get a new bike after wrecking her old one. Which ends up being immediately, as her friends and family pooled their money after seeing the little mouse girl try her hardest to earn the money for a new one.
  • Angelina, after an entire day of being a jerk to Henry in Angelina at the Fair because she didn't want to take him along with her and then loses him, finds him near the balloon seller—and spends the entire rest of the fair doing things he wants, which results in a good day for them both.
  • Angelina finding a way to include the two bratty boys in the winter ice show, Spike and Sammy, after besting them on her skates.

The Animated Series

  • When Alice compromises with Angelina's friends from Camberbert while playing schools.
  • Viki is very helpful to her friends and sometimes she goes a bit overboard with it. She is also very forgiving, and seemingly the most progressive of them when she was the first one who wanted Marco and A.Z. in the girls' club.
  • In The Next Steps, Marco and A.Z. aren't excluded from dancing with their female friends just because they are boys, and vice versa. In Angelina and the Mouselinghood of the Dancing Shoes, the girls also feel remorse for not letting the boys in their club at first. They make up at the end of the episode.
