• What exactly are the mini-misers and where do they come from?
  • It's not explained where they came from, but the mini-misers seem to be helpers for the Misers that take care of some of the more menial tasks. The sequel shows that the North Wind has his own group of them, so it can apply to the rest of Mother Nature's children too. Hey, can't handle the weather without a little help.

• How exactly are they misers? A miser is someone that hoards their money/possessions like Ebenezer Scrooge. The fact that they want to spread snow/heat everywhere to the detriment of other climates kinda makes them the opposite of misers (I guess "Snow Zealot" and "Heat Zealot" aren't as catchy, but still).
  • The fridge page explains the reason why they're called misers: they each want to hoard the territory they have, like misers.
