Headscratchers / The Royal Romance

Go To

  • Where the heck are Riley's parents? Wouldn't they notice if their daughter suddenly left home and became royalty in a foreign country?
    • It’s been stated by the writers that they chose to not get into Riley’s family so the player can imagine more of themselves in her.
  • When Riley and her friends fight with the Cordonian assassins. The Cordonian assassins are a group of highly well-trained soldiers led by Anton Severus and obviously heavily armed, including with guns and explosive weapons as well as wearing bulletproof vests. Yet, Riley and her friends (except Olivia and Liam, who have been trained since young age) who just got a self-defense short course from Mara, can defeat them with just office supplies when in the boutique and bladed weapons in the lair, while it is described that Anton and his assassins guards constantly aim to shoot them. But nobody's injured both by gunshot nor bladed weapons, except Olivia who is slashed on her side, but she survived.
    • A large amount of it was surprise they weren’t expecting the bridal party to fight back, nor were Anton and Claudius expecting them to escape and to interrupt their attempt to kill Liam. The surprise was enough to catch them off guard and allow the heroes to press their advantage. Also Maxwell stated he did have a little self-defense training as a kid being a noble son though definitely not to the degree Liam did being a prince, and Drake idolized the royal guard and spent a lot of time around Liam so he likely picked up quite a few tricks. Hana though you’re absolutely right.
