- Why did Odysseus need to carry the bag of winds that Aeolus trapped? Why couldn't Aeolus keep the bag, ask Athena to tell him when Odysseus and his crew reached Ithaca, and then release the winds when Odysseus arrived at Ithaca?
- Because Aeolus Didn't Think This Through and Odysseus didn't expect his men to be that stupid (he only found out when they ate Helios's cattle, after they freed the winds).
